I am a retired Library Assistant. I like finding facts and information. After getting requests for information on burials at the cemetery in the town where I worked I got interested in the history found on grave markers. |
Some of the ancestors names are; Gay/Phillips, Wagstaff, Rider or Rhyder, Wheeler/Stout, Walker, McGee.
I am happy to transfer anyone who is closer relation to you than I am. I hope I have been helpful connecting family members. If I have errors please let me know. Please include your member number for find-a-grave.

|SUSANSAILON||RE: Mary McGee|
Yes, My Great grandfather Welsey Sherwin Tucker and Roy's Great grandfather Ephraim Bird Tucker were brothers. Their Father was Ephraim H. Tucker, born in Connecticut and settled in Ohio, which is where the brothers were born. Their father Ephraim Sr. died when the boys were young. They had a difficult childhood. Both of the brothers lost other siblings, and when grown, married, and with children, they came west, per wagon train, bringing their Mother Cyrena with them. Wish I had met Roy. How we could have shared stories.
Mary Ann McGee was my maternal Great grandmother, Agnes's sister. They were the daughters of James and Mary Nolan Farrell. They immigrated to Quebec during the Irish potato famine, met and married in Quebec. Mary Ann had married Edward McGee in Wisconsin.
Do you have a copy of Roy's obituary?
If you need another e mail-it is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for all of your help. Susan
