Born in Ellis County. Been doing genealogy for 33 years. Most all of the memorials I manage are relatives or long time family friends. I will be happy to make corrections or add Bio data. If I have a memorial that you would like to manage, please let me know and let me know your relationship to the deceased.|

Thanks, I deleted the pic from Jane's memorial.
Would you please add it to Amos' memorial page, # 7455444, it's on Harriett's but not his.
Thanks so much.

I'm not related to your gr uncle. I don't have a note with the picture of him so I have no clue where I got it. Sorry.
I have a lot of friends that work on their family trees and we share pictures of anyone, with our without names. Sometimes there are pix of people that they or I find and I enjoy posting the pix on their Find A Grave memorials if they have one. Most times it's of folks I don't know, just take the name on the back of the picture and go looking for them.

Not according to my records.

Good to hear from you. I haven't been able to find William in any federal census after 1850. The state census done in 1866 lists two adults and four children but I don't know who the children were. Speaking of Elaine's book, can you email me a copy again? I misplaced the one you previously sent me and link I had has been removed. Thanks, Veloyce

|Carole Fudge/Ragain||Fred Clark|
Today I transferred Fred Clark over to you before I saw the information on him that you sent me. It is below in case you don't have it handy. You can copy and paste it.
Bio for Fred Clark:
Fred was born 4 May 1904 near Edom in Van Zandt County. As an infant, he moved to Rankin in Ellis County with his parents John Beri Clark and Virginia "Jennie" Vinson and a large contingent of the Clark/Vinson/ Wolverton clan.
Some time between 1911 and 1918 he moved with his parents to Crisp, east of Palmer. His father John Beri died in Crisp in 1919.
Fred married Clementine "Clemmie" McMullen in Ellis County on August 24, 1929. After their marriage, they moved to New Orleans where Fred obtained a job as a street car conductor for the New Orleans Transit Authority with the help of his first cousins Ben, Thomas and Vernon Vinson who were already employees of the transit company.
Fred Clark an his wife Clemmie were living next door to the Vinson's household at 8323 Jeannette, New Orleans, in 1930. They were paying $18 per month rent. They had been married 1 year. Fred was a first cousin of the Vinson brothers.
About 1933 Fred and Clemmie moved back to Ellis County, Texas where Fred operated a farm between Boyce and Reagor Springs. Their daughter Bettie Jean was born there.
In 1942, at the outbreak of WW II, they moved to Houston, Harris County, Texas where Fred found employment as a carpenter in the construction business. After living in Houston for 20 years, Fred died of lung cancer in 1962 at St Luke's Hospital in Houston. He was returned to Ellis County for burial.
Thank you Carole

Mr Gorman My name is Ruben (Butch) Owen. Jesse Carol Owen SR. Was my Father. Carol Owen was my brother. The info about Carol being married to Erna Lucille Poppell is incorrect. Erna Poppell was married to Jesse C. Owen SR. and is my mother. Carol was married for a very short time before marrying Ruth but I was very young and didn't know her or her name. With the exception of who he was married to and the spelling of my first name (Ruben) I believe you have everything correct. If you would like to contact me you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

You bet. Sorry it took so long. For future reference, if an edit goes unanswered for 30 days or more, you can forward your copy of the email to the Find A Grave editors and they will get it done. email@example.com Saves frustration about slow managers. I usually get to them right away but it looks like I got distracted this time and let it get lost in the crawl.

John Thomas Conner died in 1968 not 1958. I am his great granddaughter. He died the year I was born, in 1968. My great grandmother's name did not have an "e" on the end of Fay.

Yes, it does appear that way. Interesting. Mary Ann
