|Anne Cady||Hurriah Chapman|
You sent an email saying I needed to correct the date the death notice for Hurriah Chapman was published in the Washington post, however, the date I have is correct. It was published on October 2nd. See: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47657662
There was a notice on December 18th as well for the funeral service that is scheduled for December 22nd, but the obituary was originally published in the Washington Post on October 2nd.
Thank you for the correction. I have changed Mary Tuohy to Mary Campion in the bio. Cara

The rearrangement is complete.
First grave stone remains but it references by LINK his actual burial location.
Family links, and such are moved to the final burial place.
Bio exists in both places.
Photo requests for both stones put in the system.
Middlebury Union Cemetery Association database person was informed as well.
The merge is in progress.
Of interest, discovered his son Leland as Silver Star awarded soldier who died in Italy WW2.
Waiting on updates to appear
Backing out of
with link to his final grave in place
Well we need to find obit in Elmira or Corning Aug 1952 news papers.
Too bad neither are on line.
I do not live too far away, but do not get up there much.
Phyllis graduated from Lycoming College in 1947
SOn Leland was killed in WW2
Leland N Egleston
Residence Place: New York
Death Date: 3 Aug 1943
Burial Place: Via Cassia, Italy
Next of Kin: Mr Perry Egleston
Next of Kin Relationship:
Phyllis's granny was
Ada Bell West Niles (1867 - 1946)
We know in 1940 daughter Phyllis was still dependent child, elementary school age, and yet, the other Perry has none of my Perry's children living with him (Leland and Phyllis survived death of their mother and brother in 1928).
Also the last names are not the same.
Perry Ransom Egleston is spelled Egleston over and over in many documents.
Your Perry is Eggleston at least on the stone and 1940 census.
Currently still leaning to the men not being the same.
Now we know Perry moved to Corning NY as his daughter Phyllis was taking college exams in 1944.
