Thank you so much for taking care of this move of the memorials for Mr. & Mrs. Barnhardt so promptly.
All the best,

Thanks for all you do to contribute to Find A Grave. I'm reluctant to accept your edit to link Diana to Allen in Claremont as there is no way to know if the burial there is a man or a child with "unknown in birth and death" and no photo of stone - place of Claremont matches but the evidence is slim as presented - are there any other pieces of info or resources?

Hi William! Thanks for the update to this memorial! Thought I'd check and see if you are in any way related to this family? I'm not related at all… I was filling a photo request when I took this photo. I'd be happy to transfer her to your care! Just let me know! Blessings, Dana

The mystery regarding Almah's husband John is solved:
To: Cynthia Hill,
RE: John Dunham Gardner Search
Good afternoon. The obituary transcription (below) for John Gardner is from the March 18, 1946 edition of the Palm Beach Post. (Source: PB Post Archives. http://www2.palmbeachpost.com )
Mr. Gardner, 56, a lawyer and winter visitor from Steubenville, Ohio, died suddenly Saturday night at a Delray Beach hotel. Survivors include his wife, Almah; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Knight, Toledo, Ohio; and a brother, Lloyd, Steubenville. The body will be sent to Steubenville for funeral services and burial. The Delray Beach Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He died 16 March 1946 FL but is buried 26 Sept 1946 at Woodlawn in Toledo OH. Must have been buried in Steubenville and then moved to Toledo. The cemetery didn't have that info for me.
Thanks again for your help. Cindy

Thank you! I was able to find an obituary in the Toledo Blade and everything matches up. I really do appreciate your help. Cindy

I have not sent for any of the death certificates yet. I found in the Toledo Blade the death announcement (no obituary) for Alma Gardner June 19, 1969. I can't find a date of death for John Dunham Gardner. If I had that I might be able to find his obituary. I did find obits for their daughter Dorothy Gardner Knight and her husband Milton Knight in the Toledo Blade.

Mary Schneider Budd and Peter Budd had William Edward, Arthur Charles, George Joseph, Rose Mary, Lily Frieda, Mable Gertrude, and Almah Grace Budd.
|Ancestor Hunter||Mary Schneider Budd|
Mary Schneider (my great-aunt) 1850 Germany - 1917 Toledo married Peter Budd (1849-1933) and their youngest child is Almah Grace Budd (1890-1969) who married John Dunham Gardner (1891-?). I can't locate place of burial for Almah or her husband John.
