RE: John and Mary Moore
You are very welcome! It was a beautiful day and I decided to take advantage of it. Did you notice the death date for John on his stone? It looks to me to be 1882. But in those days, the numbers looked a lot alike. So maybe that 8 is really a 3? I really didn't think I would find it because it was so old!

John and Mary Moore
Do you know anything about the Moore's you requested a picture of in Iliff cemetery, Perry Co, Ohio? John's death date is 1882 on the stone, but it looks like Mary's is 1832. She was 88 years and he was either 92 or 97 years. Do you know what year they were born?

RE: Mary Fulton, mother of Thomas Meredith
Thank you for your message and sorry it has taken so long to get back.I'm not sure about the other "Mary Fulton" of Knox county in question you are refering to.I'm a little confused by the message. The "Mary" I have placed here is the daughter of Thomas Fulton(see his Wayne County Tn. Revolutionary pension application from service in Va.) of the "infamous Fulton" Augusta County Va. line. After a lengthy stay in Greenbrier County Va. after the war, with wife Susannah Kessinger, family members(direct and in-law)Jacob and Sarah "Fulton" Kessinger, and Mathias Kessinger, moved on to Knox county Tn.They are listed in tax records. There is also a large probabilty that an alledged known "Meredith"(some think by the first name of Jacob? and possibly is originally from N.C.)of Greenbrier Co. Va. has traveled along with them by known records through Knox county to Kentucky, and finally Wayne Co. Tn.It is in Knox county where Thomas Fulton's daughter Mary, married Frederick Meredith in 1800....If you have any information please respond.

RE: Mary Fulton, mother of Thomas Meredith
The Thomas Fulton whom applied for a War of Independence Pension in Wayne County Tn. stated he was born in Augusta County Virginia. The information that was supplied to me over time was that he had moved south to Knox County with possibly some Merediths..Not sure...Thanks...
