Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom of four beautiful little cherubs. :) I love doing family history work, and hope to make new friends along the way. My primary research currently includes the Cutman/Shindel/Hess families of central PA, although my immediate lineage is of Kensinger/Cutman/Shindel/Hess/Vaughen/Metzger... and more, of course! :)

During the summer of 2012, I hope to photograph and upload as many of the local cemeteries in Central PA that have not already been photographed. I hope to enlist the help of cemetery caretakers, but am finding that some are more willing than others to provide records and assistance. So many findagrave users have helped me in their service, so regardless of assistance of the cemetery's "board", I hope to return the blessing and pay it forward.

Feel free to email me with questions about any of my submissions. I do what little I can to help both my own family and others', so if I have created a memorial (or uploaded a photo) for any of your loved ones and you would like me to transfer them to you, do not hesitate to let me know. (I will keep those that are in my direct line, however.) I am also happy to include photos of the surrounding areas of the grave, if requested, and can email originals.

In love and light, God bless!
~Jen:)

RE: found you via photo claims
Hello,

You're welcome. Will get those photos for you this weekend. As for my philosophy on guide lines....lets just say I get tired of people who feel they have the right to "keep" other peoples relatives and friends memorials because of guidelines. They seem to think that the guidelines are rules or laws or maybe even an 11th commandment "Thou shall not transfer out of guidelines." Sorry didn't mean to rant, just find the whole thing ridiculous. Have a good evening.

Jacob Shindel

Please feel free to write to me anytime at this address. Actually I prefer it as writing via F.A.G. is too public. Anyway, I began my Schindel/Shindel research about 25 years ago so I can't be explicit as to which sources I used. Actually I began my research with my baby book/aka Log Of Life wherein my mother had entered information on the family tree printedcin it. My first outside source was Annals of Lebanon Co. Then after we got our computer my research really took off with various RootsWeb files, USGenWeb for PA, Google, etc. I just checked RootsWeb for you and here's the only file I found with information on George Washington Shindel:

http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jenkenyen&id=I49

By any chance is it your file? If it isn't I suggest you get in touch with the file's owner. Good luck with your research! :)

~ Nancy

P.S. When I tried to send you this email I got the message from Hotmail: "Invalid sender email address."

RE: Jacob Shindel
I just did a little research and realized the Jacob Shindel you were referring to was my gggg-grandfather Jacob. Here's what I have on him:

Are you related to him too?

RE: Jacob Shindel
Please refresh my memory on which Jacob Shindel you're referring to. I have quite a few in my database which is also in RootsWeb under the name "nangiblowe".
