I've come across a letter posted in the 2002 Bartow County Genealogy Society quarterly speaking of Edward and Martha Adair in the Adair Family cemetery there in Murray county. I added Edward to cemetery based upon the information in the letter. Could you collaborate this information? Do you know more about Martha that could be of interest?
These individuals are not related to me but the letter was most interesting and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to help someone.
Edward Adair #130919541 Martha Adair #30637261 Thanks for your time. Greg
p.s. I just discovered you already had Edward in your list of managed memorials. I can email you the page(s) of the letter for your reference if you would like. Oh and I will delete my reference to Edward once I know you have all the information you need!
RE: William You are welcome. I'm glad that I had the pictures already - much faster to get added that way. We live about 1 1/2 miles from the cemetery and know the Patricks well. Don used to come in our store (Babcock's Store) whenever he was up in Octavia so we really got to know him. His sister June's son sings in our quartet. Small world. Glad I was able to help.
Washington transfers You know it was the right thing to do and if you go back and look, you'll see we uncovered a marriage date on the marker! I was so thrilled to see that there and replaced the one photo of Annie's marker for a cleaner one as well.
James Riley Phelps I am searching for my gggrandfather, James Riley Phelps. He was married to a Susan Taylor and had a son named George Riley Phelps (my ggrandfather). I did hear family stories of Susan dying early in life, after the birth of George, but can't confirm. In George's bible he wrote they came to Wabash co, IL via Hopkins Co, KY. Again, no way to verify this information. James Could have had a son that was named James as well. Any information???
