I live in Rockville, Maryland, and would be happy to assist anyone looking for photos in this area. I have family members interred at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, and would be happy to take photos there as well.

RE: James Burnside
Not a problem! Glad they are with someone who cares about them.

I don't think I have anyone in Maryland or in Arlington, but if you ever take a trip to Memphis give me a shout. lol

RE: James Burnside
There ya go! I love to see the memorials get into the hands of descendants. I don't believe anyone should hold on to someone's ancestors just because they don't fit within the rules of Find A Grave. That's just stupid. :)

I entered a lot of Burnsides in Baldwin cemetery in Stratford from the Nancy Dodge book listing that cemetery but haven't gotten out to take pics of any of them yet. I've entered all of the Stratford cemeteries and just about completed all of Northumberland now too. This would only be all graves that had a headstone before the mid-1980's.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

RE: James Burnside
He is all transferred. If I have other Burnsides who you would like to care for, please don't hesitate to ask. I only wish I could have found more answers on his wives.

I probably have entered quite a few Burnsides because I have done most of the cemeteries near my house and there are Burnsides all over Stratford. Their names are even on the rock near my house honoring the first settlers. And of course there is Burnside cemetery right down the street which unfortuately only has rocks for markers (I think it was used during war time or something like that; I forget the story).

James Burnside

You just sponsered James Burnside's memorial and I see he is your 4x great grandfather. Would you like his memorial transferred to you?? He is no relation to me... just a grave I entered in Find A Grave.

I saw that you left a tribute to Bartholomens Dragon and that he is your 3rd g-grandfather. He and Theotiste are my 4th g-grandparents through their daughter Theotiste (Dragon) Tremblay/Trombly. I am having difficulty locating her husband George's parents and think their residence in 1850 would help. I cannot understand the place listed in their marriage record - it looks like Sallantay. I was hoping maybe you knew where Bartholomens resided at that time - or if you may even be a relative through the same "limb".

Thanks for your time!

I am sorry you did not leave an email so I could respond in detail. My sources for his information are listed on my personal tree. I am familiar with fmg, but have not gone through their pages in detail as of yet.

Thank you for using my photo and setting up the page for my grandfather. Are you family or just someone who works for Findagrave?

I'm not sure if I ever got back to you in reference to Mr. Lombard's memorial. First of all, thanks for the biographical information - I've added it to the memorial with credit/thanks to you. I meant to get back to you and see if you'd be interested in maintaining this memorial since you're related, however slight. My current goal, now that the data is entered, is to turn these memorials over to family to that they can add bio info, links, pictures or whatever they like. I'm 75 and don't know how much longer I'll be able to maintain them as they should be. Besides, these men belong with family.
Let me know what you want to do and if you decide it's not for you, that's okay, too. Again, thanks for the info and for taking the time to send it to me.
