We are retired, and love to take drives. Many of these drives end up in small cemeteries along the way. We are always on the lookout for more relatives. If we can take photos for others of their loved one's gravestone, then that's a good thing. |
You are welcome to use our photos, however we would appreciate it if you give credit to us. Thank you.

I am also. Descendant of Henriette Scharff through her daughter Johanna. I've requested the manager of Augusta's memorial add Henrietta as her mother. Perhaps you could ask the manager to add Ernst Scharff as her father. I've submitted pictures of Johanna and her family. Have you submitted your Scharff pictures to Findagrave? Does anyone have a picture of Henriette and Ernst? Do you know the nature of why they were living separately in their last years? Mental or health problems? You might have heard some family stories.

James McNair is my great grand father. There seems to be some confusion as to who his wife is, please respond so I can proceed with my research.
|Tom Menn||Wolters Family|
1st: i'm not a member of the Wolters Family.
2nd: i'm posting this as a favor to a 2nd cousin in Menn Family who is a Great Grandson of Edward Walters (1843-1883).
3rd: i was researching the Wolters Family for my cousin to answer a question about his Great Grandmother's family and noticed that you are maintaining the Find A Grave memorials for this and at least 8 Wolters Memorials in the Taylor City Cemetery (Taylor, TX.) plus others in Fayette County, TX.
4th: i mentioned you to him this AM during a phone call and he wondered who you were. i offered to contact you as he doesn't use computers as he lives on his ranch in a rural area outside of Ft. Worth. i suspect that you and he may be relatives.
Please feel free to use the e-mail address to provide contact information so i can pass it on to my 2nd cousin. He doesn't use the internet so it has to be a mailing address or a telephone number.

Thanks so much for having Stanley contact me. I haven't heard back from him yet but am sure I will. I was thrilled to find someone related to Michael Sims.

Hi Mary Lou and Dixon,
The cemetery is listed here on Find A Grave with "Mt." spelled out as Mount, so you can find it by searching Mount Auburn in Dallas Texas, Dallas County.
Or you can cut and paste this link into your browser -

Thank you for the compliment on my map for Mt. Auburn Cemetery!
I have been working on my family tree, I have not been on Find A Grave for, I guess, about a month, and did not realize that my bio for the cemetery and my map had been accepted and put on the cemetery page. I am SOO happy! My work was a labor of love. For me, it is important that my grandparent's first baby be remembered
Thank you again for the lovely compliment.

I am very happy to hand your GG Grandparents over to your care. Also if you want the rest of the Henniger memorials I maintain in that cemetery please put an edit request and I will hand them over. Take Care
