Edward Crist
My mother and I just started looking into our family history and I came across this site. I cannot believe I have found something on my great grandfather so quickly. My moms maiden name is Crist, her father is Bernard James Crist II, her grandfater is Bernard James Crist, whose father is Stanislaw James Kristopa. Making Edward my grandfathers uncle, and you our cousin.

We do not know too much about the family history other than the farm in Arnold and it was bought by a college, and apparently my grandfather refused the money from the sale due to some other family issues. Bernard Crist (Edwards father) went to live with my mom and grandfather for awhile when he was sick but ended up going back to the farm to die because my mom was 3 and he could not deal with a toddler while he was ill.

If you could email my mom so the two of you could maybe put some pieces together that would be awesome. She lives about 5 min from Holy Rosary and had no idea her family was buried there. I live in SW Virginia and other than being more computer literate than my mother I am really no help with any family information.
My mom is Maryann and her email is;
Mine is;
Thank you so much.

Hi! He isn't to far from the gate. Just to the left kinda. You would walk right pass it if you walk straight to the back fence. Mom said it's on the left. If you don't find it, we will get the photo when we come over there in the spring time. Thanks for all your time. Ruth

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for your time. I showed my mom this photo of the headstone. She said this isn't the right headstone. The one we are looking for is a taller and bigger one. It only has his name and dates. No wife or other name is on it. It has a ruff finish to most of it. A good size headstone. Thank you again. Ruth
