Thompson/Brown's @ Evergreen
Hi Pam!

Got a batch of memorials that I've created per your e-mail, going to transfer them to you.

If you would, please put in photo requests for all of them. It's a sunny, warm day today (for a change!); I'm going to stop by Evergreen on my way home from work to get the two sections (15 Lot 13 and 54 lot 89 S1/2).

RE: Gard photos
No, Evergreen is what Newport Cemetery was renamed to; it's still there!. Two cemeteries in Newport were moved there; Madison St. Burying Grounds and Old Newport Cemetery. They started burials at the New Newport (Evergreen) Cemetery in 1848; so it is very likely that he was buried there (or moved there, based on his date of death).

There are existing memorials for your great-grandparents James & Sarah Thompson at Greendale Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, IN (not far from here; Campbell Co, KY). I've asked for them to be transferred to you.

RE: Gard photos
Cool! Looks like we've got your GG Grandparents! I've created a memorial for Moses, but I'm uncertain if he's buried in the same section/lot. Todd Whitesides (a friend of mine) has Deborah's memorial; I'll ask him to transfer her to you.

I'll try to connect the dots as best I can and send them your way!

Glad to help, Pam. It was a nice day for a change; good to get out for awhile.

I've done a little poking around; looks like there's quite a few folks buried in that plot (only 3 are marked, though). I've created a memorial for Frank Gard (Jason's grandson);I will go ahead and transfer him to you.

Here's the listing for Section 4, Lot 74:

Lot 74 owner Jason Gard
John Gard-10 July 1868
Caroline Johns-29 July 1869
Grant Johns-28 Aug 1871; infant
Louis Thacker-30 Dec 1872
George Gard-26 Oct 1877
1. no name listed
2. no name listed
3. Alma G Day-14 May 1910
4-7 no names listed
8. Deborah Gard-27 Feb 1869
9. Jason Gard-1 Apr 1896
10. Gladys Gard-28 Apr 1904
11. Sarah Jane Gard-5 Dec 1906
12. Abbina Thacker-29 Dec 1908
13. no name listed
14. Irma H Witton-25 July 1917
15. John Gard-27 June 1936
16. Frank Gard-9 Nov 1971

I'll poke around somemore and let you know what I find. Are you kin to the Gard family?

Best regards,

I have photographed the entire cemetery. No marker was found for her.
