Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started documenting graves for my family genealogy hobby. This is where I discovered Find A Grave. I enjoy walking the older cemeteries & burial sites and I hope some of my entries can help others in their ancestry searches.

Please feel free to use my photos for your genealogy projects (, etc), just give me credit as the photographer. Thanks.

Thank you for your time and effort to get the good photos of their gravestone. I'm very glad to have you post it to their memorials as it adds much. Appreciatively, winnie

Thanks so much for fulfilling my photo request for Mary. It helped resolve one of the questions two other researchers and I had.

RE: Re: Oliver Freeman

Interesting. A few years back I had tried to get the town to organize and document the cemetery, and it was then that I learned about the old cemetery and the new cemetery. The answer I got back was that I should contact the town council and get them to allocate some money to get the job done. Not being in Alton, I demurred. But it seems as though you have made great strides in getting the job done, so thanks from all of us who are distant. My original interest was in the Adams family, and the Freemans are related by marriage.

Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Re: Oliver Freeman

Thanks for such quick turn around. I was wondering if there were any additional freeman burials in the area. Did you notice any?

Thanks again,

RE: Merrill Cemetery, Gilmanton, NH
Thank you for the info regarding the Merrill Cemetery, Scott. I will try looking for it again when the dirt roads are a little dryer. At least now I have a better idea of what to look for.
