I am starting to do more research on my family lineage names: Flanders, Lee, Gilbert, Myers, Pulver, Muffley, Vickers, Malone.
I live in the same area where our ancestors settled in the mid-1800's and before. I have a family with husband, children and grandchildren. I am retired as a Township of Colon Treasurer and St. Joseph County Deputy Treasurer.

Richard Jaqua
Hi Georgia:
Richard Jaqua married Elizabeth Wiltsee-Wiltsey

He was a friend of my 3rd great grandfather
Ezra Brown #128819116 and his brother Case Brown #142119380 up in Athena, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada., Columbia Co., NY, and Melmore, Seneca Co., Ohio.
They all left during the War of 1812 for Columbia Co., NY. Then after the War moved to Melmore, Seneca Co., OH. and built first Grist mill on Honey Creek, Seneca Co., Ohio.
Many Wiltse's married into the Brown family up in Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada.
I am sure you have "The Fascinating Life of Richard Jaqua" from the "History of Seneca Co., Ohio"
pp. 151-154?
Richard Jaqua and Ezra Brown were definatly exceptional men.

RE: Thomas and Anniece Beaman Lee
Hello--Matthew Lee was my great great grandparent. I wrote a history of my family but do not have much info on Thomas Lee. The only info I have on him is that he was born in Lyme, Conn. I have been in contact with the Lyme Historial Society but they had little info either on him. I wanted his parents name and at this point in time were still researching this. Here is an interesting note. Buried next to either Matthew Lee or his wife is my grandfather Mathew Lee. I have contacted cememtary officials and his grave has no marker. I have wanted to travel up your way and visit the cementary but so far have not had the chance to do so. Sorry I couldn't help you out. If I get any info on Thomas Lee I will let you know. Please do the same if you have any info on him. Thanks Ted tlee@wcoil.com is my email

Hi again, Georgia - I see your email up there now.

By the way, it looks like my son will be attending the University of Michigan for graduate school in the fall, so it's likely my husband and I will be visiting Mich in the next year or two. I would love to get out to see you if we can.

We are enjoying the idea that our son is heading back to Michigan!

Flanders
Hi Georgia,
We talked by email a while back. I have just uncovered a photo of Calvin H. and Ida Flanders and all of their children. If I can figure out how to scan it into my computer, I will be happy to send you a copy. I also found a copy of Opal Flander's death certificate in the seekingmichigan.com database - she was Zoe and Sadie's daughter who died of scarlet fever in 1907 (aged 4).

Anyhow, I can't seem to find your email, so thought I'd contact you this way.
