I was born and raised in Leon County. I live on the original Murphy Survey, next to the oirginial Mullenax survey. My GG grandparents were B.T Murphy ( From Ireland is all we are sure of) and Joanna Mullenax ( daughter of Hiram Mullenax( also has Irish roots) & Nancy Caroline Turner)...I have a love for old cemeteries and spend a lot of time there.|
Always looking for interesting family and Leon County stories..as I wonder about the lives they lived in the past, only one thing really matters- did they Know God and have a personal relationship with His son...for we all shall return to dust someday...Hope to see all in heaven someday. Glory to His Name!

Sorry, but Hezekiah and Milly are also my gggrandparents, so I'll just keep the management of their pages. Their daughter Etna Wilson McMinn and David A McMinn are my ggrandparents. Their son Hezy C McMinn was my grandfather and his daughter Venice Irene McMinn was my Mother.

Rhonda, I have no pictures of him. If I should ever find one I will send it to you.

Let me know when that comes out- I would totally get one. My husband has a ton of family buried in Leon.

Nope. Don't, but... in looking at the stone photo, I noticed his name was actually John... and someone had already submitted an edit to correct it. So I looked at my tree and found him on it! He was the son of a pair of my 2nd greats! What's amazing is that I had his dates correct for him! I've now submitted an edit to link him to them! So again, thank you!
Bless you for all your hard work!! And thank you VERY much for taking pictures and bringing this family together:) Have an awesome day!
