Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta
The management of this cemetery (and apparently the board of directors) will not reveal the location of a grave without the written permission of the next of kin.
If you can get the Section, Block & Plot numbers please add this information to the memorial as it will facilitate photographing the headstone. The cemetery is quite large and most of the headstones are flat.
Thank you for everything you are doing to preserve the memory of those that have gone before.

Now that is really something special-I hope you are as proud of that photo as I am pleased with it!
I really didn't expect a result so soon and this photo completes one part of the story which began simply by having looked at the names on a war memorial.
|Sarah Quinn||RE: Token|
You are very welcome for the token for your dad. Bless his memory. Best ever, Sarah.
|Five5mango||Re: Olive Bracken Photo|
Thank you so much for taking the time to locate and photograph the headstone of Olive Bracken. She is my great aunt. More importantly, she help raise my mother who lost her mother at the age of two. I only met "Aunt Olive" once when I was about 10 y.o. I then lost my mother when I was 12.
Thank you again!
