Bio and Links
Bio Photo My love for family history stems from my dad, and I've been dabbling in it ever since he passed. Since I moved out West to Las Vegas in 1973 I found that genealogy helps keep me connected to my Pennsylvania roots. "You are the Sum of All of your Ancestors" as someone once quoted, and so my curiosity has always been swayed by that motto. My interests lie mainly in my own direct lines, which primarily are rooted in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania Like Snyder, Dauphin, Berks, Northumberland, and Lancaster counties. I try and link as many family members as possible to the memorials I'm interested in, adding bio and photo information as I've researched over the years so other descendants can find the memorials useful to their own research.

Hartline family
Hi! Thank you for your message. Unfortunatley I do not know who John and Rebecca's parents were for sure. The tombstone for Zacharias Hoffman in the Oley cemetery had the exact same birth date for Anna Maria so it's possible they are twins. The other thing I thought of is Anna Maria might have been born in 1825, and she was christened in 1827. Another possibility? Not sure. I thought it was unusual that the Anna Maria who was born in 1825, her family was from Halifax which is so far from Oley. It's a mystery. Let me know if you come across anything. I wil do the same. Thank you so much! Happy Ancestor Hunting!

Hartline family
Hi there!
LOVE this family history you have here. I am descended from Anna Maria Hoffman Hartline 1827-1899. Had a question for you. I visited the cemetery in Oley, Pa where she is buried. Near her and her husband Josiah Hartline is a tombstone for a Zacharius Hoffman who had the exact same birthdate as Anna Maria so I am thinking they might be twins but the parents on the tombstone say John and Rebecca Hoffman. Just making sure that Anna Maria is indeed the daughter of John and Margaret Novinger.
Thank you!
Heather

RE: Lockwood Hoyt/Martha Hoyt
Yes I have a small camping shovel to get the grass and dirt away when its beneath the surface. I noticed this had to be done to reveal what more there was.

Hi, I am doing some research on the Hoffman line and I was wondering if you could share the will of Johannes (John) Hoffman d8-10-1854.
Thanks so much!!

Mary G. Messner
I added your information about Mary G. Messner. Through my computer genealogy database, I discovered she was my second cousin twice removed. How sad to think such a beautiful girl died at age 13!

RE: Steever family of Pennsylvania
Sorry, I don't know if Philip and Jost are related. My research is confined to Bucks and surrounding areas so I don't know about Snyder or Northumberland families unless they originated in Bucks.
