You are quite welcome. My husband has a lot of relatives in this cemetery, so when we go I take plenty of pictures and print out the picture requests to take with us. Some we could not find. I think they may possibly be the ones that have no stones remaining or ones we can no longer read. | | | Kathy Salazar

Buried near Douglas and Eloise are two other Gamettes:
Stanley Gamette memorial # 85405232 and
Douglas L. Gamette II (1939-2005)

the only other 'Burruss' I found were Ella n Arthur Lewis, they were abt 4 graves nr of Ida n Alfred.

I found the headstones for Roger and Eva Burruss at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
I have also recently found the following Burruss' at Riverview Cemetery:
Jeanette Ford and Joseph Ludwell Burruss. These were buried in a Ford family plot. I did not take pictures of the Fords in the plot. If you want photos of them, please let me know and I will get them.
Aubrey J Burruss Sr., Louise Viett Burruss, Josiah Burruss, Ada B Burruss, Aubrey J Burruss Jr., and Dorothea Burruss Savage. These were in one family plot with no other people present.
Also, in my travels, I found a couple of Burruss' at the Concord Baptist Church in Caroline County, VA. This church is less than 10 miles from the Richmond City limits, so these may also be related to the people you are researching. These had been added and already had pictures, so I did nothing with them.

Hello Janet,
I got the photos that you requested for the Burruss family in Riverview Cemetery in Richmond.
Five of them were buried in the same family plot, while the other was buried in another family plot.
The five that were together were Harvey, Edward, Stanley H., Patrick H. and Ashby. Also in the same family plot were Myrtle B Mullins, John P. Mullins, Ruth Burruss Griffith, Eli J. Griffith, Jennings Byron Maupin, LeRoy Manly Sizemore, William LeRoy Sizemore, Ruby Burruss Sizemore, John G. Burruss, Annie M. Burruss, J. Winston Gills, Laura B. Gills, John J. Elliott, Dellie Burruss Elliott and John James Elliott.
The other person you requested was Julian Ashby Burruss. The other people in the plot with him were Jean Burruss Arvin, Cora E. Burruss, Woodson C. Burruss and Rachel Ebbert Burruss. I believe, based on the way the gravestones were set up, that Rachel was his wife.
In addition, I did find another Burruss in the cemetery while we were there. That would be Helen Marie Burruss.
