I have been tracing my family history for over 30 years. I have a tree on Ancestry with lots of research on the Goben, Alexander, Halligan, Harris, Williams, Gerry, Bell/Beall, Blount/Blunt, Scholes, and DeWalt lines. They all spent time in Illinois, where I'm from, but I currently live in Ohio. If I can do anything for anyone in this state, don't hesitate to ask.|

|J B||RE: Valerie and Gerry Smyth photo|
I was happy to find the Smyth's names on an actual monument since most of the newer graves are flat markers. The other side of the monument has Valerie's parents John & Erma (Hicks) Ehemann, and uncle Clarence Hicks and grandmother Jenny Hicks. I have added memorials for them and photos of their markers. I would be happy to transfer all of them to you, please let me know if you would like them. -Judi

|Mary Arvidson||St Adalbert-Frank Lempa gravesite|
I filled your request for Frank (Franciszek) Lempa. I also sent some edits to the owner of the page for the name, birth date, death date and location. He is buried with his wife, Katarzyna Lempa (1881-1965) and their daughter, Leokada Lempa (1917-1940). I did take pictures of their headstones too so if you add pages for them let me know and I'll post them...Mary

Hi. You have an active photo request for Valerie Smyth at St. Mary Cemetery in Lake Forest and another photo volunteer has a note attached to it that says he sent you the plot location. If you would be so kind as to post it that would be of great help to narrow the search area since the newer markers in this cemetery are flat on ground and it takes a lot of time to hunt through all of the rows. Thanks, I will look for an update and head on over to the cemetery. -Judi

You are very welcome.
|K Berry & JGBC||Easterday memorials at Pac. Crest|
I transferred John Easterday to you. You should ask D K Railsback(who created George & Martha's memorial)to please, transfer Martha's to you as well. She's good about transferring to family. You should have all the Easterday's together.
As far as John's wife, I didn't see her grave but I'm guessing my son has already jumped on researching her local. He always beats me to that. I'll ask him about it. He has a great rapport with Pac. Crest and tends to be very successful when he makes an inquiry.
We'll be in touch.

PS if the reply could be sent via her SAC (blank on her edit page - I only define this as some have asked) so this remains more private. I think the edits you sent before might be in your own edit tab if you choose the menu choice "Edits I have sent to others" and then "Edits I have sent that were approved." On your own profile page.
Pauline's # is 158228038.
Thanks for all you do.
|Tree Leaf||RE: Pauline Alexander|
Re: the 2nd edit sent for Pauline's father. I checked and the edit you had sent for her parents on 12 May 2016 were William Harmon Alexander (1845 - 1925) and Eliza (Fleming) Alexander (1820 - 1870.)
Everyone makes mistakes, even when we are related to the decedent. This is one reason I now ask people for their source prior to clicking approve on every edit sent to me. It makes people angry with me, but we all make mistakes. There is no wish on my part to be difficult or cause anyone any hardships. But merely so the page is accurate.
This is also a reason I have begun to make notes to myself or on the page, of who sent the information. At times people have sent me a very unfriendly message and then I find out that I was not the source of whatever they objected to.
You have been most polite. This isn't any extra work. I had to post the rules in my Bio merely because people had become quite uncivil with me. But most people here have been wonderful. We are all working toward the same goal, I think.
Is it possible that you could send any type of source or background for the new edit? It would be greatly appreciated. I would do the research but my eyes are really painful and bothering me today. I stopped in here out of boredom mostly ;) And to see if there was any quick work I could do.
I really appreciate the edits that you sent. Thank you for adding to her memorial.
