I do this so people can have the ability to have what is so hard to find ,I know how hard it is to research .I don't have time for ugly and negative people so don't bring it .God don't like ugly!!!!

RE: William U. Tabor
I have been reading about our ancestors in New England--the Harmon family and the Phelps family. Read about Phelps on books.google.com--The Phelps Family of America and Their English Ancestors. I'll look forward to receiving your materials

RE: William U. Tabor
Bevel Tabor b. 1777 in North Carolina. He and his brother Isaac were Methodist preachers. Bevel received appointments to churches in 1831-1833 and then he was discontinued because of bad health in 1833.

Go here for information about Isaac and Bevel:

http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tabor/Tabor/TaborMS.htm

Bevel can be found in census records:

1820--Louisiana--Feliciana--Thompson Creek
1830--Louisiana--East Feliciana
1850--Louisiana--St. Helena--Eastern Districk
1860--Louisiana--East Feliciana

Most sources on Ancestry say he died in 1862, but I haven't seen any proof of that.

RE: William U. Tabor
The Harmon information is in a book called The Harmon Genealogy Comprising All Branches in New England by Artemas C. Harmon. We are the Springfield, MA, branch. See pp. 159-168. P. 168 has Lovina and gets the family to Mississippi. This book is on books.google.com--full text. Let me know if you have any trouble finding this.

RE: William U. Tabor
Are you descended from Louvenia Harmon Tabor or one of the other wives?

RE: William U. Tabor
I am descended from William U. Tabor's son Bevil, who was born in 1877. He was not one of the ones who went to Lafourche Parish. Can you send me the name and author of a book that has William U. and Louvenia's birth and death dates?

Halfway Cemetery - Gray
I will start working on the Halfway Cemetery right now.

I sent an email to info@findagrave to see how we can get the duplicate cemeteries deleted. I will let you know if I get a response.

Did you find all of the duplicates via Find A Grave by just putting Lafourche Parish in the request?

Chris

RE: St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery
Can you send me a listing of those that are wrong such as have 2 or 3 listings or churches that are listed with cemeteries which don't have any and I will try to work on them and notify the contributors like I did for the St. Hilary cemetery.

Thanks I am here to help if I can.

RE: William U. Tabor
I am working on William U. Tabor right now. I can go back to Massachusetts in 1640 on his wife, Lovenia Harmon Tabor. Is she your ancestor? I'd be glad to share. Could we switch to regular e-mail? My e-mail address is part of my information on Find-A-Grave. What I would like to know for now is where you got the specific information about William U. and Lovenia--exact birth and death dates, etc. Did you know that there was a notice of William U.'s death in The Evening Post of New York, NY?
