RE: John E. Dismukes Jr. 1843-1910
His obituary is in the Chariton Courier July 22 1910, page 1. It lists his 4 children.

Burdell's
Hi, You sent some edits to change the surname spelling from Burdell to Burdall. I did some random research and kept seeing the spelling as Burdell more often so made a note as such on the memorial. It would help if there is some other sources on this. Thanks, Diane

RE: Jaunita Broaddus 1904-1910
April 15 1910 page 3. Chariton Courier has this short article on the death of Jaunita Broaddus. Jaunita, 6 year old daughter of Ed Broaddus of near Kaseyville, caught fire from a bonfire Thursday and burned to death before her screams were heard. Her father reached the child when her clothes were burned off and her body crisp. The little one died as her father carried her to the house. I am not related, just reading this paper gathering more info on my own family and have a hard time passing by info that can contribute to others memorials on Find A Grave. The Chariton Courier was published in Keytesville, Chariton County, Missouri. It is available online on the Library Of Congress site "Chronicling America" Historic American Newspapers.
In reading these old papers, I am struck by mortality rates and disabilities caused by accidents and diseases still prevalent then and I think of the debates going on now about vaccines, etc.

Hope you had a good Holiday also. Thanks for finding that duplication. I don't know how I overlooked it but I'm glad it is fixed. I think I got all of my mistakes fixed and I removed my entry for Emily Abar. But in the process I got to looking at Perry's children and I'm not sure Kathryn is hooked to the right mother. To me if she was born in 1896 then she should be hooked to Emily and not the other wife of Perry. You might want to check me on this and see what you think.

Margaret Hague # 101784872
Tressia, thank you for Margaret Hague burial information. By chance do you have any information for her husband, Reuben Hague 1801-1879 ? He died about 10 years after Margaret either in Worth,
Worth Co., Missouri or in Linn Co., Missouri. Reuben was my 2nd great grand uncle.
Thanks again... Michael

RE: George Post
You are welcome, mine was a duplicate to yours and I thought you might want to merge and own the record.
