RE: iphone
Wonderful! Sounds very interesting. That cemetery is near harkness memorial park in waterford, ct with an amazing view of Long Island sound. New england is Very historic part of
country and the cemeteries are truly reflective of that . Let me know if there is anything else I can help u with about the region etc. thank you for sharing genealogy. My great grandfather immigrated from Italy in early 1900's. my grandmother who is 97 was actually born in Illinois-highland park. Then she returned to Italy where she grew up. Then came back to us. My great grandfather apparently was bootlegger during prohibition and was nearly killed by kkk. Played dead and they moved along. Hmmm...? Maybe that's why the family left town!! Best, Liz

RE: Griselda Beebe
No problem, Penny. It was a pleasure to help. First picture I took on iPhone for find a grave and the resolution was a little too high to submit a really clear photo. I'm not sure how to adjust pixels. Any tips if u are an iPhone user? I can always submit a clearer photo on my next trip to that neck of the woods if I can figure out how to adjust for less resolution. What a beautiful area and peaceful spot. Are you in the us?
Thank u for writing. Enjoyed the experience and said prayer too. Truly, Liz

RE: Max Orlomowski
Hi Penny,

Thank you again - I'm not sure if my cousin has requested military records or not; I'll have to check with him and see.

We appreciate you getting pictures of the stones!

Max Orlomowski
Hi Penny,

I've added the memorial for Max though it's obviously got very sketchy information. Hopefully his grave marker can add a little more to that.

I totally appreciate you taking pictures of both his grave and that of Magdalene!

Magadelene Orlomowski
Hi Penny!

Thank you so much for finding my great-grandmother's headstone for me! I'm still trying to figure out when we changed the spelling of our last name but that may forever remain a mystery!

Did you happen to see any other Orlomowskis in the same area as Magadelene? I don't know if her husband Max is also buried in Elmhurst or not as I'm not even sure when he died other than ten years before her. My family history is rather spotty!

Thank you again so much!
