You are so very welcome. Shelia and I love when we can get pictures for someone. Have a great evening
I'm glad I could help.

I apologize for taking so long to transfer this memorial to you. My sister had major surgery, my daughter is expecting and my elderly father had been visiting so I was a little tied up.

D.M....As far as I know she is not buried with him, she might be somewhere else in this cemetery, but he was the only one listed with that last name. The empty area between the 2 graves is where he is buried and there is no marker. The woman in the office looked for a wife, with the name that you gave me and she couldn't find any listing.....do you know does she have family buried here under her maiden name? Anyway, I hope this picture was helpful....take care...DC

D.M. I have some news, I ran into someone from the office and was able to have her look up James' burial record. The reason that I couldn't find him is that he is in an unmarked grave in the singles area, and therefore not buried with his wife. I am not sure what your relationship to James is/was....but the cemetery representative who I talked to Leslie Mansoor told me that if you are interested in obtaining a marker that she would be happy to help you out. If you are interested let me know I can send you the info. I took a general pic of the area, and of the exact spot where James is buried and put them on Find a Grave, if that is o.k. with you, otherwise I can remove them. I do have the digital files if you would like them e-mailed to you.

D.M. Trust me this is/was more than just a few weeds, I actually always take a shovel, gloves, etc...when I go to these cemeteries, I did try again today with no luck, the only other thing I can think of is you as a relative might try calling and seeing if they can do some maintenance and raise the graves.....I know many cemeteries do it for free, but I am unsure what Woodlawn's policies are. I am so sorry I was unable to help you. Good luck...DC

D.M. I tried to locate he and his wife yesterday, the area is very overgrown, I spent about 30 minutes trying to dig up overgrown graves (they are all flat to the ground).....I will give it another try....DC
