|Born in Tifton, Ga I was raised on cemeteries. No better place to have a picnic in my Mother and Grandmother's opinions. My Mom also got me interested in family history and genealogy.|
It is therefore with great pleasure that I plunder cemeteries, large and small, in search of markers. I find it so sad to find markers that have been rendered illegible over the years... and that makes this volunteer program even more important to me.

Thank you for finding and photographing these graves. I spend a good deal of time trying to tie together all these people. About 10 years ago I was actually in this cemetery. At the time I was not involved in Find A Grave and didn't even know there was distant relation listed here. Now I'm able to add more to my small family. Keep up the good work. I may call upon your services so day in the future.

Thank you again Theresa for the clear image. This confirms what I was hoping was her correct year of death.

Thank you ever so much for going out of your way to take photos of the Benjamin Tucker Willis cemetery, as well as Tucker's monument; this is a missing piece of family history and we are not able to travel to NC at this time. Thank you.

Theresa - Thanks for identifying my gt gt paternal grandfather grave George Decatur Gillikin. I have been to that cemetery but never know who is in "unmarked" graves. Diane Lawrence Pertile
