I love learning about my ancestors and who I come from. I enjoy helping others climb their family tree as well. I am a member of the DAR and and can assist with lineage for applications. It's my pleasure to help others honor those that came before. I love connecting with distant cousins.
If you are interested in connecting with kin, I urge you to leave flowers with a note on memorial sites. State that you are related to the person and that you are open to connecting with others. I have had people reach out to me thinking I'm related, and no way of knowing who requested the photo months later.
