|Peggy Sullivan||Ruth Seymour Smith|
Titicus Cemetery, Ridgefield, CT
The listing for her father is incorrect. Her father was Matthew Seymour, however, the Matthew Seymour shown for her is her brother rather than her father. Matthew Seymour who died in 1768 at 76/77 yrs of age was born in abt 1692/93 and Ruth was born 1707.

Hi Kurt ....
My George Ramsey was my GGG Grandfather.
My line is Emma Ramsey Great Grandmother b 1866
Jesse Ramsey GG Grandfather b 3 Oct 1842 in Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio
William Ramsey GGG Grandfather b 25 Jun 1810 in Hopewell Twp. Washington Co., Pennsylvania
George Ramsey GGGG Grandfather b 1753 Ireland.
If as obit states that George Ramsey was 96 at his death it puts his DOB as 1753. I'm sure another record will come to light in the coming years to change it yet again! LOL I've added an obit to George Ramsey on Find A Grave~~
History of Harrison County cites George Ramsey's wife as ---------Leeper (Information from another source shows that Catherine McCauley was first married to a John Leeper,)
Rama Karamcheti, Reference Librarian, Citizen's Library, Washington, pa. dated 15 Oct. 1999 a copy of an obituary from The Examiner, listing George Ramsey's death as 1 Jan "Died on the 1st of January (1849) last at his residence in Hopewell Twp. this county, George Ramsey, aged 96 years. Was for more than 60 years a resident of the twp in which he died. Was a native of Ireland and landed in this country in June 1775 at Philadelphia. Immediately after enlisted in the army of the Revolution in which he served throughout the war, being in man of the most important engagements. Had been upwards of 50 years a member of the Presbyterian church."
