74 years of age, and while residing in Cordova [Memphis] TN, call St Petersburg, FL home. My dad's side of the family, properly "Breighner", settled in the Gettysburg, PA area in the mid 1700's while my mom's Cooks settled in the Woodstock, VA area of the Shenandoah Valley at about that same time. |
In the included photo is the home in which I was born in Lorain, Ohio from which my parents also operated a bakery with the larger equipment in the cellar and the nearer half of the home on the first floor being devoted to a breakfast/lunch/delivery service.
Served 4 years in USMC 1958 to 1962 and two years in the Army 1964 and 1965 with a tour in Vietnam.
Besides Find-a-Grave and Ancestry, the wife and I seek individuals for class reunions, especially if the 50th, as a hobby. Given the name to including the middle initial, and the place of birth, we are usually about 95% successful. Have a 50th coming up?, feel free to call on us.
A profile is a brief of oneself, and have more interest in my family and fullness of a memorial page than some other's conditions of participation and/or personal policies which are redundant to that of Find-a-Grave in any case.

I would like to ask your permission to use your photo of Blaine Smith in my family files on Ancestry.
Also I wonder if you might have or know where I might find more pictures of this family.
Thank you, ML Sample

Am curious to the fact if you are related to him and the Piets or if you just did some of the Piets Find a grave pages.

You submitted a request to change Evan to Evans. The gravestone clearly says Evan. What documentation do you have to confirm the addition of an S to the end of Evan?
Please do no be offended by the request for documentation as it is in the Findagrave guidelines in order to keep accurate records.
Thanks, I appreciate your help.
Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,
Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia
A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.
Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25feb2015. F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.
Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

Thank you so much.
Would you consider transferring the above mentioned - she is my grandfather's sister. My # is 48401851.
Thank you and have a great day.

Thank you for the birth information and maternal link for Engelbert Abberger. I had been searching recently for more information on his family but could find nothing. If you are related to the Abbergers I will transfer Engelbert's memorial to you if you wish.

|Vero DiSpirito||Charles G. Adalian (# 90594394)|
I wanted to thank you for the photo/document you loaded for Charles G. Adalian.
Thanks for transferring the 2 Streaker memorials.
My main goal was to correct the cemetery and I
really did not expect a transfer!
When you visited the Tucker Cemetery to take the photos, were there other gravestones present?
There are supposedly 40 burials there. I reside
in Maryland and would make a trip to the cemetery
if there are other stones and it is accessible.
Your help is really appreciated!
