I'm a retired chemical engineer living in the Houston area, though my wife and I grew up in Austin, Texas. We are researching the branches of our family that spread from Central Texas to East Texas, over to Alabama, Georgia, and all the way up to Ohio. We have found this site to be extremely helpful to us, and we hope that we will add information that will be of help to others.|
We have been searching Texas and Ohio cemeteries for Cox, Whitt, Koos, Stewart, Davis, Cherry, Zimmer, Miller, Watson, Cross, Hurley, Locke, and Braly, but in the process of looking for our relatives, we have been taking additional photographs, especially in cemeteries where not many photos are available. You may use any of our headstone photos without asking our permission; however, we would appreciate receiving credit for our photo. If we manage a memorial for your relative, and it is not someone closely related to us, we will be more than happy to transfer the management to you. Unlike some contributors, we will transfer non-direct relatives such as cousins, aunts and uncles.

I have emailed you privately with my information.
Thank you very much!
|Donald Kempton||Thank you|
I am the son of U.S. Army Private Robert Paul Kempton. He was murdered when I was 3 years old, and I had never seen his gravestone, much less knew he had been in the Army until I received the flag that draped his coffin from a cousin last month.
Also a prior soldier, and have been overseas since 1992.. now working for the Air force as a civilian.
I appreciate the picture and the site that made it available.

It is a best guess, since they are about 20 when he was born and the gravestones are the same type and it is the same cemetery.Thanks for linking them.Donna

Ok ... Just found them for you! Or at least I think it is them. Look in the Moss Cemetery, Milam Co., TX aka Moss Ragsdale Cemetery.
Mary E. Davis #33001404
J. M. Davis #33001343
There are 9 other Davis burials listed there.
Let me know if this is who you were looking for.
Have a great weekend.
