|I am a 4th generation native of California, born in Bakersfield in 1952. I am a member to the Moore, Zeller, Pascoe, Hitckcock, Pascoe, and Frazier families from the Glenville/Woody/Fresno area. My father was Herman E. Moore, child of Charles Joseph Moore and Bette Belle Zeller. My immediate family moved to Springville, CA when I was 7, and then to Porterville, CA when I was 9. I graduated from Porterville Union High School in 1970. I spent 4 years (1970-1974) in the U.S. Air Force. I attended Humboldt State University and graduated with a B.S. in Forest Management. I worked for the U.S. Forest Service for more than 30 years, and retired in 2009. I have lived in Hydesville, California since 1983 with my wife of 31 years.|
I am currently heavily involved in populating my family tree (s) in Ancestory.com, see my family tree (screen name "moore007154") at this site. I have found the Find A Grave site a excellent avenue for finding and linking the memorials of my relatives. I plan on using this site for displaying relative information that tells who my relatives were, what they did and and who they were related to.

|UNICORN1950||Memorial transfer - thank you!|
Thank you for transferring management of the memorial for Patience Shaw Crawford Moore in Sunrise Cem., Fortuna to me. She was my great-great-grandmother.

I don't like being the bearer of the bad news of her having no headstone. I searched the surrounding area for any relative and
found none. Sorry for your loss. Chris

I asked the cemetery office about this person today and here was my answer.
The only "Fielder" at IOOF is in lot 61. W.R. Fielder. There may be more there, as this looks like it may be a family lot. Notes say that nameplates are missing.
I walked the entire cemetery when I added all who had headstones. Just wanted to let you know. Good luck!

Roger, thank you for getting the nice photos of the Moore stone. Interesting that all those other names are on the stone - I will do some research today and try to get them matched up and if so, will make memorials for them and will be in touch, maybe you can add the photo to their memorials. Thanks again, your time is much appreciated.

You have my permission to use the photo. I am glad you can follow you family history. If I have anymore of your family on Find A Grave you are welcome to copy them.
You should know that it's spelled Glennville, not Glenville, since you photo'd at at Oak Grove Cemetery and your kinfolk are the same as mine in Glennville.
PS. My grandfather started Dewar's Candy Shop in B'field in 1909. Perhaps you've heard of it?

I just saw the photos you took of my parents' marker and they are beautiful - thank you so much. I appreciate how you took separate photos of each side of the marker and then one photo of the entire marker. Thank you for caring about our beloved family members.

|Deb||Headstone photo request for #110219276 & #111019474|
Thank you for claiming my photo request. As you drive thru the main gate, they are toward the right, at the back and the top of the hill, next to the road that runs alongside the back fence. There is also another little road, going through the graves that runs right in front of theirs. Their headstone is gray granite and is flat. Hope this helps you.

Thanks ever so much for this tombstone photo. I appreciate Folks like you who help those who can not get to these cemeteries to get photos of their kinfolk.
|Four Leaf Clover||RE: Samuel Kelsey photos|
I'd be interested in photos of the other graves as well.
