Eliza McBride (Hatcher Cemetery)
I'm sorry but her grave isn't marked with a tombstone.

Most of the graves in that cemetery are marked with a field stone or not at all. :(

RE: THANK YOU!!!
You are welcome. To the right of her grave site is that of S. R. Hussey (17 Nov 1813-10 Feb 1892), "78 y." These two are the only ones on the cemetery list and the only ones I could find. The church has one marker that represents several graves that are unmarked; I don't know who they represent. Probably, the church knows someone is buried there but the records are long lost.

Regards,
Joy

Hi Kirsten,
I will take a photo of the tombstone when I am at the Hatcher Cemetery again and will post it for you. :)

RE: THANK YOU!!!
Hi Kristen, There are so many Mackey's / Mackie's in the cemetery I thought for sure I would find your request. There was one headstone that had fallen in the area of other Mackey stones so there is still a question and there are other stones in the older section that can no longer be read. I will take another look when I am out there again.

Hi Kirsten! I was out at Hickory Grove Baptist today taking pictures, and when I got back I saw that a couple of folks had photo requests, and two of them were yours (Robert and Zetta). I didn't have anything but a bottle of water in my purse, so the pictures didn't come out great. I will return tomorrow, and get better photos. I went ahead and uploaded the ones I took, but I am unhappy with them, and would like to clean off the stones (with water and a towel) if that is OK with you.

RE: Thank you so much!
Kirsten,

You are welcome for the photographs. At my end, the request for the photographs appeared less than two weeks ago, so the long delay seems odd.

Congratulations on making contact with a lost relative.

Kristen,

You didn't mention a name with the tombstone you thanked me for. Who is it, maybe I can help you.
