<<---- This is me, holding up my family tree. It's a tough job, but it's what I do!|
I am primarily interested in recording the memories of my direct ancestors and their relatives. I am more than happy to transfer a memorial for anyone who is not my direct ancestor, in accordance with the FindAGrave guidelines.
On my father's side, I am interested in the Pettitt, Stever, Jones, Poindexter, and Flynn families (among others). Much of my information here comes from the book Thomas M. Pettitt: His Ancestors and Descendants and the Times in Which They Lived, by Mary Courtright Pettitt and Robert J. Pettitt, Sr (my parents).
On my mother's side, I am currently interested in the Courtright, Coulson, Shirley, Barker, Beelaert, and Coppitters families.
I have also started researching my husband's family, and am currently working on the Klopping, Burns, and Mueller lines.

Thank you for the information you have added on my maternal grandparents, Alta and James Pittman. My mother Pansy Pittman Martin Thompson passed away on Nov.11, 2011 and is buried in the family plot with her parents, sister and my father, Clifton Jackson Martin. After my father died in 1999 my mother married Charles H. Thompson in 2001, who is still living. I do not have much information on the Pettit side of the family. Any information you would like to share would be appreciated. If you would like to contact me my email is firstname.lastname@example.org

|Anonymous||Peter C. Stever|
My granfather was Thomas Jefferson Stever, son of Peter C. I have been working on the Stever family and their siblings over 30 years. But I'm not educated in this so its just me. I was born, raised and live in far northern CA. Came from a family of 8 kids and after losing three more in the last 11 months, only have one left so trying to finish everything.
Have tried for a long time to find anyone that has ever drawn out a map of the Stever Cem and listed the stones. I know there are several persons buried there without stones but I think I have most of the names and dates anyway but not what order the stones are in znd how many are left. I would appreciate anyone that would know or be close enough and willing to get that info. I have Frank Stever's book,the " Cline Cousins" book,Payton"Payton Society" book, Stever "Kinfolk" book,the Barry County MO "Stever" book. I love family history. Thanks for your trouble. Jayne Stever
