I'm addicted to my family history! I love discovering the stories of my ancestors...it's amazing to find a photo or new information and findagrave is such a terrific source! I love it!|

You're welcome and it was no trouble. I visit this cemetery every year. I forgot to mention that this family's plot is surrounded by a concrete curbing. In my view, there was not space for another grave. Let me know if you want the documents. If you wish to keep your email address private, I could post them for you to download and delete them afterwards.
I spoke to the Cannon Cemetery Board yesterday and we searched their list of every headstone. Predictably, none exists for this infant. For what it's worth, we found and photographed two of the other requests and posted them. None of the remaining photo requests are on the Board's list. We walked to the Murley family grave site and coincidentally, the family was there tending the graves. This weekend is decoration day for the Cannon Cemetery. Conversation was unproductive as Alma Lee's granddaughter was unaware of the stillbirth. Since then, I found and downloaded both death certificates and if you email me, I'll send them to you. I noticed the Find a Grave record indicates this baby was born and died in Tioga while the death certificate indicates he was stillborn in Van Alstyne under the care of the well-known Van Alstyne Dr. Veazey. I have no other evidence but suspect the baby boy might have been buried in the same casket with his mother. That was not uncommon back then. Hope this helps.

I live 10 minutes away from Cannon. I can do it tomorrow. I grave dowsed the plot, and the rods show a small child that is unmarked.

I found your request for Infant Murley on the Cannon page. I 95% believe she is buried in the Murley plot, but she is unmarked. I can send you a photo of the Murley plot if you wish?
|Rebecca Hold||Sooter transfers|
Thank you so much for Verna and Ralph's transfers. I will make the corrections.
Appreciate all you have done.
|Rebecca Hold||RE: Verna Sooter|
There are two Ralph Sooters. Yours is buried in Kansas and the tombstone date it correct.
|Rebecca Hold||Tillman Sooter and Verna Sooter|
I would be grateful and appreciative if you would transfer the memorials of Tillman Sooter and his daughter Verna Sooter to me. I have things I could add and would like to maintain it since we are kin.
Rebecca Sooter Hold
My dad was a Murley from Cumberland County KY. Walter Bransford Murley> William Thomas Murley > John Murley> Amanda Murley.
I was wondering if you have any info on any of these?

Susanna was my GGGrandmother on my mothers side. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got the date of 1915 for her death date. I cannot find anything of her past the 1880 census, but I feel like something closer to 1900 would have been correct. I feel like if 1915 is correct then I should be able to find either a record in the texas death index or a death certificate for her. Any information you can provide to me will be appreciated by all my family. Dave Spivey.

Thanks for verifying the information, the changes are complete.
