RE: Nettie & William Womack
I searched the entire cemetery, and I couldn't find Nettie and William Womack's kids.

RE: Nettie & William Womack
I found some more Womack family members, and they are Herbert B. and Helen J. Womack, do you know them?

RE: Nettie & William Womack
I've found some more Womack family members who are buried at Greenwood Cemetery, and they are Odella (Gaines), Rebbaca "Bertie" (Eaves), and William A. Womack, do you know them?

Your welcome, glad to help out and I found them on Shadylawn I'm not sure which lot though. Sure you can add the photos on Ancestry too.

Hi again,

no problem. I was up there today and it's a huge cemetery...87,000 graves in fact. In 1980 800 headstones were bulldozed after an Act of Parliament granted permission. Some survived and some were used to repair paths but most were destroyed. There is a recreational space in the area where the headstones were removed. I'm quite new to all this but have emailed for a plot guide/map to find my way around. If your ancestors grave is still marked I'll find it I'm sure.

Cheers

Hi there,

you have a photo request for this relative of yours yet state that his headstone has been removed? I'm willing to take a photo of the grave if it's still there so can you confirm if you have indeed researched and found that his was one of those cleared.

RE: William P Womack
I have transferred William P Womack to you. No doubt I will be related to him, but since you seem to be a direct line, I will turn this one over to you. :)

RE: Furman Pursley
So sorry for the delay in transferring these memorials. For some reason, I did not see this message until I was looking for something else today. I'm always happy to transfer :-).

Ezekel Pursley
I noticed you have a photo request for Ezekel Pursley. Someone had already created a memorial for him (41218874) and it has a photo with it. You might want to cancel the request since a photo already exists and ask the creator of the original memorial to transfer it to you.

To the left of the headstone belonging to L H & Malita Pursley several feet is a chunk of deteriorating concrete. It is possible that at one time it may have been a marker but it has no definable shape nor could I detect any writing on it. It is only about 15 inches in a somewhat roundish shape. There is also space to the right of L H & Malita's graves that could be an unmarked grave. I searched for over an hour and could not locate the grave.
