Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello my name is Dawn Hammond. I grew up in South Carolina,Georgia and Virginia. Have lived in Utah and now I reside in Oklahoma with my husband of 11yrs and 2 beautiful daughters.
My sisters started on the geneology some years ago and has compiled many, many hours of geneology, I have taken there information and compiled it together and added it too the Ancestry.com web site for the last 2 years almost every day. Now I would like to give back to families what others have done for me, and that is to take photos of cemeteries and headstones so they can get the information without the expense of traveling or paying an agency to retrieve the information.

When I finally found this grave a few weeks ago, it was badly obscured by dirt and weeds. In short, it is a sad sight. I made it back today to try to clean it only to find that it isn't dirt, but actually an ant hill. I cleaned it quickly best I could. His wife is beside him, but there isn't a permanent marker for her. I still haven't found their daughter.

RE: Astor Faglier
My wife is related, she was a Phillips, descended from Ichabod Phillips (see memorial in McDuffie County, Ga.)

Hope this helpful,
Jimmy

BF Mosely
Thank you, Dawn, for photographing the grave of BF Mosely. The Mosely "Clan" now spans the country and, so, is quite the project to track down. You have helped to add one more needed detail.

Dawn,

Thanks so much for taking the photos of my distant relatives. It is always nice to have a memorial with a photo of the marker, when possible.

I see that you are a new member. Welcome to Find A Grave as you will find it to be a very rewarding experience.

Dempsey
Thank you very much for searching for the Dempsey gravestones. I was hopeful that someone would have honored them with a stone, sorry it was a search in vein, but I do appreciate the time you took.

I would appreciate any other Davis markers you have: perhaps if you give me their names I can tell you if they are "our" Davis' or not. By the way, the marker you sent me must have been an infant child of grandpa Davis that we didn't know about.
