|richard v.||RE: requesting photos|
I am sorry for the misunderstanding. What happened was, when I requested a photo of GG Alice's monument, I saw the message "Claimed". So I thought that someone else was managing the site besides me, and would not be able to request a photo.
A photo contributor had gone to Riverhead Cemetery, but could not locate the monument, even though her death certificate says that she is interred there.
I have contacted Riverhead Cemetery, but they claim the records only go as far back as 1940 (she passed on in 1918). So I cannot complete her info for the site. Thanks for your message,

It is very difficult to read the letters, especially since they run together. It looks like to me: Mrs. Perfis wife of...
Never heard of Perfis and I would think it was an old fashioned 'f' but that would mean and 's' and it seems to have an 's' so that doesn't work.
If I can I'll see if I can read it better in person but I can't promise.

|Ms Martie Martin||RE: Jennie Robinson|
Hi, thank you for your interest! Jennie's husband, George, memorial 22039886, shows his birth and death dates. I do know both Jennie & George are from southern Missouri, raised there, and all their family is there. Jennie's family is Crider. I believe she was buried in Oklahoma only because that is where she died and I doubt they had the money to transport her back to Missouri. I am quite sure she died around 1922 as my father was an infant when she died and he was born Dec 1921.
As for being buried on private property, I have no idea.
Blessings to you for all you do.
|Ms Martie Martin||RE: Jennie Robinson - Hominy|
Hi, and THANK YOU for the correspondence; Grandmother Jennie was not Quaker and had just moved to Oklahoma as my grandfather found work there. After her death my grandfather moved back to West Plains, MO, with his 3 young sons. I would doubt she was buried in the Indian cemetery but I will certainly look into it!

Hi, Thanks so much for the email. I am thrilled that they are starting work on Mt. Zion. It is just wonderful. BTW, I double checked, and my email seems to be working today. Take care now. Sue

I do not have the ability to edit that memorial, as it is under the management of Find A Grave.

The memorial was entered prior to the capture of his brother. I am not defending, condoning, or attempting to minimize his actions. I stated the facts, as they were presented in the media at the time I entered the memorial. Nothing more. This subject is no longer open for discussion on my profile. Further complaints and comments should be sent to the Find A Grave administrators. Thank you.
