|Peace4me||RE: recent photos & memorial|
Thank you so much for sending me such a nice message. I had the photos for a good while but I hesitated to put them on because of the bad condition they are in. Some people get upset if you put a photo on that they can't see good. I myself would rather see my relatives stones even if it wasn't in good shape. Each time I went to the cemetery I would stop by their stones and take a few photos of their stones hoping the sunlight was hitting it just right so I could get a better photo of them. I took a photo of the two stones together so you could see them together. If you look at that photo you can see a bigger gravestone behind their stones. That is their daughter's stone Ameila Auber. You can't see any writing on her stone because it's facing the other way. For some reason your great-grand parents stones are facing the other way from all the other stones in this section. Did you see the writing on your great grandfather's stone? It says he was a good & faithful father and husband. I thought that was so nice for someone to put on there. I didn't make that other memorial of Henry. I did added the photo to it too. Carla 😊

|Peace4me||RE: Melvina & Henry in Mt. Zion|
There isn't a office around this cemetery to ask anyone. I looked in the book at the Ohio County Library about the burials in Mt. Zion Cemetery and that is how I know they are in that same lot as their daughter. I know you can use flour and rub it into the stone and and is suppose to help read old stones, but I have not tried it. I'll go back one day and see what I can do. Carla :)

Hi, I did a request for you for Amelia Auber. If you look at that photo on Amelia's memorial you will see two old stones in the back of her headstone. I believe those two stones are your Melvina & Henry. They are very old stones and it is very difficult to see anything on the front of the stones. That is the backside of the stones that you see when you look at Ameila's photo. In the book at Ohio County Library it has them listed in the same lot number. I never put their photos on because of it being so difficult to read. I just wanted to let you know. I'll check back there another time to see if I can make anything out on the stones. Carla:)
