I've been interested in exploring and photographing cemeteries for several years. I thought i was just weird until I discovered other people with the same interests on websites devoted to cemetery art, and then on DeviantArt. |
Another deviant directed me to this website and I find it WAY more interesting than Facebook. I also like to trace my genealogy and the original spelling of my surname is actually Lithuanian. I would be most interested in contact with anyone else researching that surname.

I spent a half an hour working on this lady...only to find out she is buried in a Potter's Field with no stone.

Thank you for finding Arndt's gravesite!!!
|Barbara Hoffman||thank you|
Thank you so much. The last time I was there I thought I looked at every headstone. (Not a big cemetery) And I did not see it.

It was real nice of you to go to all the trouble. I would have been happy for just the copy of the shared stone. I didn't want to copy it over without your permission, some photographers are picky about that. I know how cold it gets up north as I'm from Michigan and we would often visit my mothers family in Wisconsin. Would you mind if I use your photo's for my family tree as I would add you with the credit of taking it? Stay warm Mosquito.

Thank you for the photo for Hilda. Would it be alright if I could add the stone for her Husband John to as it's a joint stone with full credit to you for taking it or you could post it for him to?

Thanks for picture! I also noticed that the date on the stone is different than what most people have as his date of death.

I would go with you and help as I am right here.
The 7th floor Special Collections library at UWGB is the historical society repository for all things Wisconsin and some counties in upper Michigan. Though I haven't been snooping there in about five years now, there is a mind-blowing amount of information there. Parking stinks but a short walk is well worth it. Plan to spend a day there!
My dad's birth announcement wasn't important either. He was a premie but back in 1917 the war was big news, not a birth.
