I just had a conversation with Tom from Forest Hills Cemetery and he said he personally doesn't have an issue with taking photos but he will check with his legal department to get a ruling on it and will let me know. I will keep you posted.
I have posted the photo for Elijah Memorial # 109603152. I have a photo for his wife Rhea but no memorial. There was also a William J (1880-1974), Elsie M (1882-1969), and Mary L Schmehl (1909-2001) in the next row. I have photos. William J memorial #114720394 is at it's limit for photos. I posted a photo to Elsie's memorial #114720426. There is no memorial for Mary L.
This is really great news coming from that cemetery. They are and were hard nosed in the past and I've even been told by the workers that no photos are allowed. If I am off from my work next Wed., I do want to go down and talk to this guy in person. I will probably go down there Sunday for your photo. I do know that cemetery, so it should be easy to find. Will keep you posted.
Photo Requests I was out at Forest Hills Cemetery trying to get some photos for your requests and we were told that they do not allow photos to be taken. If you can call the cemetery office at 610-779-2550 and request section information, I will try to get back out there on Sunday to photograph the markers.
RE: Bertha Leona Cunningham Thiel Usually I don't have this much trouble at that cemetery. i will go back again Monday and see if the caretaker is in. and if i do find it, i will photo both of them for you.
Schmehl Headstone This headstone benefited from some recent vandalism at the cemetery. Numerous other stones had been tipped over. This week a company volunteered their services and the stone I previously posted has now been resurrected.
I have posted it on both Annie E. and John W.'s memorials.
