I live in Mesa, AZ and would be happy to take photos of headstones in this area.

RE: Photo Requests
Hi Sharon,

I just had a conversation with Tom from Forest Hills Cemetery and he said he personally doesn't have an issue with taking photos but he will check with his legal department to get a ruling on it and will let me know. I will keep you posted.

RE: Photo Requests

I have posted the photo for Elijah Memorial # 109603152. I have a photo for his wife Rhea but no memorial. There was also a William J (1880-1974), Elsie M (1882-1969), and Mary L Schmehl (1909-2001) in the next row. I have photos. William J memorial #114720394 is at it's limit for photos. I posted a photo to Elsie's memorial #114720426. There is no memorial for Mary L.

RE: Photo Requests

This is really great news coming from that cemetery. They are and were hard nosed in the past and I've even been told by the workers that no photos are allowed. If I am off from my work next Wed., I do want to go down and talk to this guy in person. I will probably go down there Sunday for your photo. I do know that cemetery, so it should be easy to find. Will keep you posted.

Thanks again,

RE: Photo Requests
Hi Sharon,

Sounds great. I will wait to hear back from you. Hopefully they will respond to emails. They are not very receptive to phone calls either.

Photo Requests
I was out at Forest Hills Cemetery trying to get some photos for your requests and we were told that they do not allow photos to be taken. If you can call the cemetery office at 610-779-2550 and request section information, I will try to get back out there on Sunday to photograph the markers.

Schmehl Headstone
This headstone benefited from some recent vandalism at the cemetery. Numerous other stones had been tipped over. This week a company volunteered their services and the stone I previously posted has now been resurrected.

I have posted it on both Annie E. and John W.'s memorials.

I'll remove the previously posted photos.

SCHMALZ / St. Joseph
Hi Sharon, I was looking on the cemetery transcription page for St. Joseph. The only Schmalz they have listed are:

Albert H., Anna C., Dorothy M. (Senft), Gertrude F. (Holtzman), Henry C., Joseph C., Margaret R., Raymond G.

Did Gary go by a different name? or perhaps, is this a middle name?

I'd be more than happy to take the photo if I can track him down.
If you have any helpful info, please let me know. Thanks!
