Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have spent my entire adulthood working for and with people. I have worked for the State of Missouri for Senior Services for the past 7 years. The job is very rewarding but I still felt a need to volunteer. Volunteering to take pictures for Find A Grave looks to be a wonderful way to help others to remember their family members. I look forward to spending a lot of time to connect people with their past family members.

Please feel free to use any pictures that I have placed in this website and if any transfers are desired, just ask and enjoy!

Richard Cary Robertson
Just yesterday I received information from the Briscoe Library, U. of TX on Richard's grandson Sam A.(son of Frank S. Robertson, follow links)
Sam said in a letter that his grandfather drowned, along with a number of soldiers (POW's)from your area, when the steamer CSS Kentucky hit a snag on the Red River just south of Shreveport LA in 1884. They were to be returned home via St. Louis. About half of the apx. 900 on board drowned. I did add him to the Christian Cemetery, Miami, however his remains may have never made it home. I'll research the Shreveport area for a confederate cemetery. Thank you so very much for your effort, I really appreciate it.

Nancy McGlasson Robertson
Hi again Christy, I noticed that same old English "R" on some other Robertson tombstones while searching out other Robertson's in Saline County. Did you notice on the old stone it had wife of Richard C Robertson on the new it had R.C. Robertson. Could he be there with her???

It took several years for a friend to find their grandson, Col. Sam. in San Antonio.

Hey Christy, Thank you for adding the pictures of my ggg grandmother, Nancy Robertson. Did you happen to see her husband Richard Cary Robertson anywhere around? She's at the Christian Cemetery in Miami MO.

Thank you,

Grave site
Hi,

I recently stumbled onto this website as I was googling my mother (Shirley Bynum) and this was absolutely wonderful and I thank you from my heart.
I also have a question re: her husband (my step father), as his name is list amongst the Bynum's but when I click on his name William Eugene Bynum it shows a grave site that is not his, although I am certain they were relatives but this was not his head piece (it is located next to my mother's)...
However, please continue to do what you do, as it is thoroughly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Consuelo Stewart

add parents Anna Pettit
Would you link the parents of Anna Pettit, memorial 101429316 to her parents Thomas Smithey (#71884923) and Julia Belle Smithey (#66535494). They are my cousins. Anna's granddaughter gave me the location of Anna's grave and I would loke to see them linked.
