Bio Photo Thank you for visiting my profile page. Find a Grave has been an invaluable resource in my family research. I really appreciate all of the help that other members have provided me.

The primary family names I am researching in my family tree are Dibert, Flack, Gutzeit, Hanson, McDonald, Opoka, Scheberle, Volk, and Wolf. However, it continues to grow as I find more family members farther back in the past.

Julius Hanson
Julius Hanson is listed as being buried in Block H Lot 13 Grave 1 in Mount Moriah Cemetery. I looked all over that lot and the surrounding area and could not find a marker or headstone for Julius. I checked the cemetery list for gravesites around him and found those listed in front of his and behind his, and didn't find a marker for him. I'm sorry to disappoint you. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

RE: Wolfs in St. Joseph Cemetery in Hillsview
James:

You are welcome. Sorry I couldn't find Theodore Volk. I am going to do some checking to see if I can get some better information. The cemetery is maintained, so I'm guessing someone should have some records. My brother-in-law lives in the are so I get up there a couple times a year. I'm not sure how familiar you are with this area, but this cemetery is 15 to 20 miles from the nearest "actual" town. Hillsview has a population on 3 and consists of 2 farms. I'm guessing there was a rural church near the cemetery at one time, but it is no longer there. I'm going to check with the priest at the Roscoe/Bowdle parishes (two towns that are SE and SW of Hillsview)to see if they can provide me with some additional information. Hope to get up that way again later this year.

photos of Maria Daniel Mahoney
I added some photos I have of Maria, and some of her siblings. Marias father William Alonzo Daniel is my Great Grandfather. Marias brother Zala Daniel is my grandfather. there is a photo of most of the whole family that was gathered at the 1940 reunion, I can add that if you'd like. Although I don't have all the names. My dad and his siblings are in the pic though. :) I recieved alot of pix on a CD from a cousin in North Dakota a few years ago and finally got around to figuring out a lot of the names and relationships.

McDonald
Hello, was very fascinated with your documents. Job well done. I am very curious about the McDonald family. My favorite aunt (my father's sister in law) as I noticed in some of the sites in here, that the name is either McDonnell or McDonald. Do you know of any history to this? How it was changed and what is the real spelling of this name? I appreciate any input. My aunt passed away last September, and her husband (dad's brother)died three months after her...December. They are greatly missed. I wish I had seen this, would have loved to show my aunt all these information I found on her family's side. She's Evelyn McDonald Britzius.
Thank you for reading.

I wish the photo would have turned out better. The sun was coming through the skylight so bright, all I could get were various reflections.
I can try later if you like.
