I enjoy genealogy myself and understand how important it can be to find the actual graves of those you are researching. I'd love to help.|
If you are a family member of a memorial/grave I've submitted and would like to take ownership of the memorial, I will be more than happy to transfer ownership!
Any information on William C. Jamieson, born between 1847 and 1850 in New Brunswick, NJ would be welcomed. His mother was Margaret Smith (born NJ) and his father was William Jamieson (from Aberdeen, Scotland.

That would be great, if it's not too much trouble. Many thanks! (I'm related to all the Heatons in that area. All descendants of Rev. Samuel Heaton.)

Thank you for the photo.
|Ted Prohowich, Jr.||Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church Cemetery|
I am the new cemetery administrator for the Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church Cemetery. It is referred to as the "Port Elizabeth UME Churchyard" on the website http://www.findagrave.com/; I will need to change that once I get a Find-A-Grave Profile.
I found your name through contributions you made to the site over the past few years. Thank you for your work.
By looking at some of the pictures, I can see that many changes have been made to the cemetery:
Tree removal or branches raised to none less than 12 feet above the ground
Granite stones were cleaned prior to our 225th Anniversary celebration.
Bridge added over drainage ditch
Replaced fence in front of church.
I will be editing the information on the site with certificate numbers and plot numbers for the sites purchased after 1908.
Our church website is http://portelizabethnjumc.org/ .

Thank you for getting the headstone pics of my relatives!!
|MyrtisJane||RE: Laura Sapp|
Again my thanks. I can walk you through a transfer. Let me sort the people out first. I may wish the parents of her husband.
I think we have things in common because when I go to the cemetery I cannot take just one photo I have to take any by the last name that I'm looking for. Cause when I get home I'll figure it out they were kin. Then too I usually take photos of graves surrounding the one I'm looking for.
Have a blessed day.
Thank you so very much. At first I did not know where she was buried. Then a friend of her son got me the cemetery name. Now you have added her grave marker. Laura or Lollie as her family called her, was a favorite one. She died young from cancer. I did not know her, she was my husband's aunt. The ones that did call her the "sweetest person".
I am very grateful for your time. Also you added other Sapps you found. I am so pleased. I will sort them out as I understand they are the relatives of her husband. I will send you requests to add links. Thank you again! You have made my day.
Hi again Lori,
I just noticed, Jacob Pepper and wife Maria are not on Find A Grave, do you want me to add them and copy your photo, or do you want to do it. (they share the stone with Ruth Pepper)
Let me know,

|Christine Heaton||Tombstone Gideon Heaton|
Lori Jo, I cannot thank you enough for this excellent shots of Gideon Heaton's and Levi Dolles's tombstones! It is truly generous of you to take the time to go hunt the cemetery. Was there a map of the graves available to help you, or did you just have to trek everywhere looking for them? Since I live in Florida, it would be a very long time before I could get there to see them myself in person. I have many ancestors buried there. Unfortunately, the markers no longer exist for many of them. You are THE BEST! Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Chris
