Hi Ms. Shirley,

I thought I'd let you know that I have been working with the Kruse family in German Cemetery which is what led me to you.

What I have done so far:

As you are aware, I have sent the links so you can join Hilda and Hulda to their mother and father. I have also located all other known siblings and requested a link to their parents too, with one exception, your uncle, Howard. As I manage your uncle Bernhard, I have already linked him to his mom and dad, but I manage none of the others.

I have requested a bio note be added mentioning Walter Petersen on your aunt, Lena's memorial. I manage Walter, so I have already created a hyperlink back to Lena. Walter's memorial # is 101676157.

I have requested that your grandmother's maiden name, Soll, be added to her memorial. I have also requested that both of your grandparents places of birth be entered as Germany.

I have the following known children listed for John and Elizabeth:

Lena M. Kruse, ca. 1898, Minnesota

Henry C. Kruse, ca. 1899, MN
KRUSE, Henry C.; 24; md. Irene D. DESLER; 23; May 1923 60410

Howard (Horass in 1910) Kruse , ca. 1900 , Minnesota
KRUSE, Howard John; 31; md. Hester Frances FULTON; 25; Jun 1931 73465

Arthur F. Kruse , ca. 1902, Minnesota
KRUSE, Arthur F.; 33; md. Madeline H. A. PENKE; 25; Apr 1934 80767

Hilda F. Kruse, ca. 1903, MN

Hulda M. Kruse , ca. 1903, Minnesota

Bernhard, 1905-1910

So, what you may wish to do is to refine these existing memorials. If you possess photos, fantastic. Some only have birth and death years, so any details there would be good. I believe I neglected to request that the places of birth (Minnesota) be added in (not sure in Bernhard was born in MN).

Also, are you aware of any additional children? If so, perhaps we can find them.

Okay, that's it for now. Please drop a line when you can.

RE: William to Edward link
I changed Hannah's burial place to "Unknown". Better not to assume.

I have another Question. Maybe you know!

I have a 1891 Census for Eaward and Hannah's family. There is a Lilian listed right after Rosina. I just noticed today, when I was making Memorials for the children that Lilian was a grandchild. Her last name is shown as Callaway. That would make her one of the son's daughter's.
However, Edward immigrated in 1873 and William immigrated in 1869.

She was born in 1885, six years old at the 1891 census. She is not living with Hannah & Rosina in 1901. and she doesn't show on any 1901 census as Lilian Callaway. She may have married at 16 I guess. The question would be: Who is the Father?
Did I miss a Son?

RE: William to Edward link
I have made a memorial page for Edward W. Callaway II and one for Hannah Purr. Both Edward III & William are now linked to their parents, but you have to be on their parents page to see that they are siblings. There isn't a place to show siblings on a page, just Parents, Spouse, and children.

I will go and revis the burial from unknown to Nunhead. I assume that is for Edward II and Hannah Purr.

William to Edward link

I found to link siblings, you need either the father or mother to have a Find-A-Grave memorial. To make the memorial, you need the cemetery they are at. I don't Have and info. on their parent grave locations (Except that they are in England)

I'll keep trying.

Edward &William Callaway link
The only way to link siblings is thru their parents. I don't manage Edwards memorial, so I can't link him to his parents. I have asked Mark Maxwell to turn the sites over to me, so I can link all of the relative in Egg Harbor.

RE: Calloway-EHC Cemetery
I'm glad to have found the plot. I've posted pictures of headstones of the other Calloways in that plot. There are also some May family as well as 2 graves for Sooy. I did what I could and also have 2 other plot photos I did not add, so if you would like them for your personal records, I will e-mail them. Just let me know. I really enjoyed seeing Edward's photo on his memorial. Good luck with your search and if there are other photos you need in Egg Harbor City Cemetery, just let me know. I'd be happy to do what I can.

Calloway-EHC Cemetery
Hi Shirley, I have a bunch of photos for other Calloways, Mays from Egg Harbor City cemetery. They are all buried in the same plot named Calloway-Mays. Would you like those photos? If so, please place photo request on them and I'll add to their memorials. Also, there is a person named Thomas Sooy in the same family plot who is a war veteran. Would he be related to the same family group? I live in Egg Harbor City, just down the street from the cemetery, so any other photos you may need, I'll be happy to assist.
