Bio Photo Hello Fellow Contributors :)

I am researching family connections of...
Smith, Hilaire, Kloster, Webb, Hinman, Hust, Bauernfeind, Sykes (Seitz), Fazio, Weite, Laragay, Skinner, Pellegrino, Bayer, Pepitone, Dockery, Anderson, Buddenhagen, Cody, Bayer, Filby, Corrigan, Ferguson (holy smokes there are a LOT of surnames in my family), and so many more.

My family connections are from England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, Canada, Italy (Sicily mostly). In the states they are from New York (The five Boroughs, the Island and Sullivan County), northern New Jersey with branches touching all over - Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, Virginia.

Anywho, please post away, send SACs, chat.

What a fun ride I expect this to be....

RE: Van Vactor and their 'clan' :)
Hi Berta. As with a lot of dutch names, it's made more confusing when some listing are made with no space in the spelling between the two parts of the last name, Vanvactor as opposed to Van Vactor. Anyway, I'm glad you are on the case. ;-)

RE: Levina M
Thanks for the clipping! If it's ok with you, can we leave the clipping on her memorial?

Are you related to Levina? If so, would you like to manage her memorial?

I found him - next to his wife at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (Dewitt, NY) - I have added him and linked them together - I have sent you an 'edit' for the wife (Emily) - so you have her plot information. Thanks!! Tom

I would love to transfer any family members that you would like to have to you. The Livingston and Brazie families are the ones that I research in the Basket area, but along the way if I find other information, I post it so others can find it. Do you have the number for Mary Oestrich Shields? Have you gotten a copy of THE BASKET LETTERS by Leslie D. LaValley from the Basket Historical Society Long Eddy, NY 12760? It is full of information and has a section on the Oestrich family. Lisa
