My name is Kristina,|
I've been working on my family tree for over 17 years. I love Find a Grave, what a handy tool.
It and you my Find a Grave friends have helped me succeed in joining the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution for that I am greatly indebted to you.
I am willing to help find graves and fulfill photo requests when I'm in Michigan.
If I've created a memorial that is your relative and not mine, or my husbands, I will gladly transfer the management of the memorial to you just let me know.
*** If you are a fellow volunteer, thank you. I too share your hobby and know how much work it can be. If you are not a volunteer...well you should be. We all need to help each other.
Kind Regards, Kristina

I used to post a lot of photos of the Big Bay Cemetery because I used to live near there. That is no longer the case. The best way to get a photo of a specific memorial is to navigate to her memorial and click on "Request a Photo". Once you've done that any volunteer who makes their way to Big Bay will see that you'd like a photo and will hopefully be able to fulfill it right away.
I hope this helps!

Hi, I noticed that you processed the edit request to link Susan to her father, but not to her mother. I'm not sure what happened to the request to link to Belinda! I've resubmitted it. There may be other pending edits, as I've noticed you manage several members of our family. Could you please check your pending edits and process them? Thanks!

|EveyBl||Obituary for Belinda Woods Sines|
Hi again. I just realized why I recognized your name over here. I had seen you have an obituary for Belinda Woods Sines on your tree over at Ancestry.com. I cannot see the tree or the obituary... just the title of the attachment. Would you be willing to send me a copy of that, please? I'd also love to know where it was published, if you are willing to share. ~Evey :-)

Hi, I found some duplicate memorials and I wanted to let you know I've written to the other poster and asked that theirs be deleted. You posted in July 2009 and they posted in Nov 2009. I found the duplicates because when I tried to link one memorial to the children, I realized the children were already linked to other memorials! I posted my images to your memorials back in March, and the poster of the newer memorials added images to theirs yesterday. Your memorials also have headstone photos, whereas theirs do not. So, your memorials definitely are the ones that should stay. I just wanted to let you be aware of the situation. The duplicates are Susan/Susannah Sines Hawkins (#43966235) and John Hawkins (#44045865)

No I am not related. I just took a few additional photos while taking photos of my family in Riverside. I will eventually be buried in Riverside.
Sounds like you do need to go to bed........but I am glad I don't live where that place is.....if it might be a scary neighborhood..........just be safe where ever you are........and happy graving..........

|Julia Ather||Michigan website|
Hi again. The website seekingmichigan.org has all the death certificates for Michigan online for the years 1897-1920. There are different ways you can search for them, and sometimes a certificate is difficult to find because it was indexed under some wild spelling. It's a great website though, and it's just incredible to read so many certificates and the reasons why people died. It really gives a good picture of what life was like back then--very hard. So many babies didn't make it. Anyway, if you have relatives in Michigan, you might find something new there.
|Julia Ather||Alfred and Wilhelmina Swanson's family|
I got your note about the duplicate memorial for Baby Boy Swanson. It is NOT a duplicate. Alfred and Wilhelmina lost at least two babies, and there are death certificates for both. If you notice, one baby boy was born on 24 May 1905 and the other on 25 Aug 1910. The second one has been incorrectly indexed under "--- Granson" in the Seeking Michigan website, in case you want to look for it. I can transfer that memorial to you too if you like.
