Bio and Links
Bio Photo Omaha, NE. I have been doing ancestry research on my family since around 1998. I started with very little to go on back then when there wasn't much information. Times have sure changed over the past 10 years or so. I have added pictures and gravemarkers when ever I can to make it eaiser for others to see who their ancestors are and where they came from.

RE: Sarah Cornelison Kesler
The Walnut Hill Burial book shows only five Kesler and nine Kessler graves in the four cemeteries (i.e. Cedar Lawn, Memorial Park, Ridgewood and Walnut Hill) so the fact the markers for Catherine and Stephen Kesler are nearby suggested to me that I at least let you know of their presence and location. The time of death seemed to tie in with the others too. Hattie and John Kessler are in section 09 and their deaths are from about the same time period as well; John died in 1914. Sarah is in section 08. Sarah and L. are shown as Kessler in the book.

Sarah Cornelison Kesler
Did you know there is another person buried beside Sarah? This additional grave is unmarked according to cemetery records but shows "L. Kessler" [sic] is also buried in section 08, lot 077, grave 3. The record has no death or burial date but it shows burial #2670 for "L." and #2671 for Sarah. Did she perhaps die in childbirth? There are also two more Kesler graves in section 08; they are perhaps 50 yards away. See Catherine (d. 1925) and Stephen (d. 1917) if you are interested. I will create memorials for them. I am not related and do not know the family, just a volunteer.

I calculated the birthdate from the cemetery records that show that she was 76 years old when she died. You can find the Fairmount records here:

You'll find Minnie listed on page 64.
