Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a contributor to for just over two years. I managed to find the gravestones for my aunt and uncle on this site, and asked for folks to find the gravestones for my other aunt and uncle, as well as my grandparents, all of whom are in New York (Long Island). The members have responded, so I felt I needed to pay it forward as well.

I am closest to Alta Mesa in Palo Alto. I have a map of the cemetery so if you can tell me the plot, subdivision, section and other information, I can get the photo. I always try to put flowers on the grave for the photo, in order to give your love to the deceased as well as to look as though I do belong there as I wander around the headstones. Please REMEMBER to tell me the plot, subdivision, and section. You can call Alta Mesa directly (650) 493-1041.

Absolutely! If you read my bio on Find A Grave, I give complete permission to use any photo that I have taken. Isn't that the reason for this----to share?

RE: Lukowichs and Ostrowskis
Fish Creek was a town but I believe now is a rural municipality encompassing a number of towns and rural churches. Do you know which church they may have been married? If not, do you know if their religious affililation was Catholic or Orthodox?

Lukowich is a familiar name. Families lived in Hafford & Speers, Saskatchewan.

Will send you whatever I find.

Below a the land descriptions I found for Ostrowski.

File No.; Homesteader; Part; Section; Township; Range; Meridian

808704 Ostrowski, Filiko NE 30 43 24 W2
2058792 Ostrowski, Frank NE 15 43 24 W2
2566274 Ostrowski, Frank SE 14 45 9 W3

Is Frank a member of your family tree?

As I find more information on your family, instead of using Find-a-Grave, is there another email address I can send it to? would be good.

Hello Robin. I am happy to hear from you about your family in Redberry.

I did not know the Ostrowski family. Redberry is the name of a municipality. It includes a large number of rural districts and towns. I am most familiar with Krydor. Your relatives may have lived nearer to Hafford or one of the other towns. Do you know where they picked up their mail?

Are there any specific things you would like help with, ie. land location, census, etc.? Would be glad to help. I love family research!
