Thank you so much for the photo. I also thank you for your time and effort in fulfilling my request. It means a great deal to me.

I have no other information on this headstone. My sister and I canvased part of this cemetery in Feb 2008 and it was there when we took the picture. I would have no idea where the marker would be now.

Yes it may be too soon, thanks though.
Alot of obituaries and stones don't match--I don't have the obit so I put what on the stone, saves time when people start writing that I have errors. Thats what it says Have a good day, Marie

What my book says, I will keep it for awhile. I have friend who has geneology all Semecka families, and personally I see some errors. Kirkpatrick also. These geneology books are not 100% and especially when many of originals laid under beds, in sheds and lost--they can't be 100%--these were picked up by Topeka Geneology I know for a fact--Wabaunsee and Riley have same problem--thats why we have these chances to find the facts.... it is too bad birth certificates are so full of errors, also--I got some of those also. Later, take care Marie

Sounds like good idea, adding all stones can. It has always been a thought of mine that Kesler and Kessler were the same--probaly because relatives used both names...some of grandkids have changed the name also which is probaly okay but I seem to run into the confusion---it is that way in all names, the name Lytle has 14 spellings...I go NC to the yearly meetings and come home more confused than when I went. Thats way it goes--don't have to go--but I might miss something. Have good day Marie

I changed the Kesler names, however they are a mystery family, I have information from family does not agree with this, but have been asked not to put it on here. Some spell it Kessler. Thus it looks like some of these are errors because the facts are different, I did not realize that when put it in but if I hadn't someone would have. I have obits also. You will probaly hear someone that her name was May. Thanks Marie

Thank you for catching the error. I have several newspaper references to him, but I believe you are right; Adam was his first name.

The speed with which you filled my two photo requests is unbelievable. Thank you so much. You literally made my day!

I cannot thank you enough for your help in posting the headstones of the above. I was born in Rossville, as was my father Chester Patton, his father Charles Henry Patton, all his siblings. My great-grandparents, Charles William and Rachel Patton, and all of their children except their daughter Emma Dell Patton are buried in the Rossville Cemetery. I now live in the Seattle area and a couple of years ago made a trip to Kansas and to the Rossville cemetery. It is very beautiful there and I did find all of the above graves however did not see Ostos, Mabel or Howards grave. I truly do appreciate your time, trouble and caring. Thank you! Charlotte (Patton) Bockus
