Hi Brenda, I was trying to print out the photo you have on Sim Wallace on findagrave at County Line Cemetery. It's not letting me print it out could you email me a photo of him.
|Amy||Ida Belle Wallace|
Hi Cousin Brenda! Hope this finds you doing well. I found Ida Belle today, daughter of James Danford Wallace. I'm requesting that she be linked now.

Hi Benjamin Holcombe is my 7x great grandfather. I have information on his wife if you are interested. My lineage is through Jesse, to Benjamin b 1788, to Clayton, to Starke, to Romilas, to Annie Ruth, to Joseph Shirling, to me.
If you would like more info for your tree, let me know.
You are quite welcome. I'm just sorry it took me so long. I snapped those photos last July. But it takes so long to upload them, I was putting it off.
Are you related to the Pirlots? My maternal grandmother, Zellia Motquin, was a Pirlot. In fact, her father donated the land for the cemetery, and was (I think) the first one buried there -- Frank Pirlot. There used to be a Presbyterian Church on the land, too. It was in the center of the property, near the Cheese Factory Road. I saw it in the 1970's. It was a wooden structure, all boarded up. I have no idea how long it has been gone.
I have some Pirlot information at www.BelgianFamily.com. If you are interested in more, please let me know.

Awesome, thank you. I will do what I can to help you with Neville. I have my own photo of his marker at the new cemetery and can post it for you if I can determine his actual grave location. Again, I am lead to believe that he must be at the old cemetery since the church has posession of the military marker. The new cemetery doesn't date back that far so I know he is not there. The pinpoint for the map on the Holcombe Cemetery is not correct so that one will be difficult to find. I will start with the old church cemetery.

|Jimmy||RE: Jesse Holcombe|
Hello again Brenda,
The photo that you posted for Neville at the Holcombe Cemetery was actually taken at the Lower Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery (new location). Since the marker is there, it would tell me that Neville is actually buried in the Old Lower Fairforest Cemetery with Jesse and the marker at the new cemetery was moved there along with Jesse's and others and is a cenotaph. I will go to the old cemetery as soon as I can to see if he has a marker there for his actual gravesite.
Just as a word of caution, you should not re-post photos that someone else took and posted since that is against F-A-G guidelines. Only post ones that you took yourself or have permission to use.
I will let you know what I find out about Neville

|Jimmy||RE: Jesse Holcombe|
Jesse is actually buried in the Old Lower Fairforest Cemetery which is in the original location of the Baptist Church. The church moved to it's new location and started a new cemetery there. I understand from the pastor that the military markers for Jesse and several others were moved from the old cemetery to the new cemetery for the Bicentennial Celebration. These markers would now be called cenotaphs by F-A-G guidelines since they are not actually buried where the markers are. If you would like me to check on Neville, I would be happy to, but it might take me a little while because my schedule is full for the next couple of weeks. Please let me know.
Hope this helped

Hi Brenda, I have transferred Cora Morris to your care. I could not get the other number to work. Please send all request from each memorial. I do not mind a hundred requests a day but as many as I have, I cannot search for them. I love to have family transferred to family. No problem. Thanks, Janine

Brenda, I agree. I wish the world could have a lot more cooperative efforts like Find-A-Grave.
