I'm a native of Logan County Kentucky and Amateur genealogist and historic site conservationist. Gravestone preservation and repairs are among my interests. Also photography and natural landscapes.
Please if you are a family member of a person I have created a memorial for, simply request me and I'll gladly transfer the memorial with photos. As usual all my photos are copy written so proper requests do apply as per the rules of Find a Grave.
Also PHOTOS: Please assume all my photos are copywriter privileged and ask me for your copy for personal family use only.
No dart boards made from my photos please.
Reclaiming abandoned Graveyards I have experience with. Archeological issues can arise, detail is important from first site to attempting to clean a stone to read it. Document everything.
If ever a question on something call the local historical society before acting.
Remember laws pertaining to visiting a graveyard and land owners property, vary State to state.
For safety sake, before waking onto someones property call upon the land owner before encroaching upon the property to see if it is the grave of a family member. Some land owners are very touchy about people hanging out on there property.
Rural Grave yards are a safety hazard, be careful.
Go with a friend, and a phone with a camera. Documentation.
I now reside in Franklin County, Va.

Do you have a will for Thomas Potts? I found a will for a Thomas Potts in Jackson County, Missouri. The death date is 1861 and the name Wilkins does appear in it. A Juda Wilins name appears as an heir along with six or seven other heirs.
Please let me know. To record the will for you, I will have to do it long hand and then type it up. Don't want to do it, if you already have a copy. Waste of my time. Please let me know.
David- They may be buried there but there was no marker for them when Granny and Daddy walked that cemetery in 1960s. I tried to find the cemetery in 1998 with Daddy, but we couldn't even locate it. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Try calling the TSLA to see if they have any death records.

|Rob M||Sarah Etheridge|
Neither Sarah nor Nathaniel NS has a surviving marker. They are buried together in the same grave.
There are more than 40 Etheridges & associated family buried in two lots, which are next to each other. About 11 of them don't have surviving markers. A large number of these were all buried on the same date, as if they were moved here from elsewhere.
I'm going to add photos for all of the gang. The location is Section 4, Lots 53 & 54.

I have a number of news clippings (digital) regarding this man, as well as, a partial listing of companies he had between 1891 and 1915 ( I stopped looking after 1915, because of time restraints). In the next couple of days, I'll try to find time to email these files to you, if you want them. Just reply if you want them and I'll send them when I can get time.
At least one of his sons ( John A, Jr) worked with him, as well as, a brother (James - in an earlier business).

All I know about John Etheridge is what is on his memorial. I did look at his death certificate and note that his occupation was real estate and that he died from a gunshot wound of the temporal area. I don't, as a rule, include the cause of death on memorials when it's a suicide. I'm sorry that I can't be of more help.
Thank you for your service!

Ed is my cousin. He was a one of kind, all around great guy. It's hard to believe he gone.

You are very welcome. Please contact the creator of her memorial, Helen, and she will gladly reorder the photos to move the photo of her marker below her portrait. You are very lucky to have access to the photographs of her. D. L.

Since I wrote my first message, I have been going over info on Margaret and noticed that I have her linked to her mother Sarah Hewes Tellon. The person that created Sarah's memorial is someone I know and is very knowledgeable on Floyd Co., IN genealogy. However, I noticed that someone on Ancestry.com has Sarah's maiden name as Bostwick. They didn't give a source. Indiana marriages have Sarah Ann Hughes marrying William Tellon 3 Jun 1843 in Floyd Co., IN. Don't know which is right but because know liz who created Sarah's memorial, I'd guess she was right.
