As a young child, I accompanied my mother on her quest to find her ancestors. I always loved the hunt and all of the wonderful surprises along the way. I took up my personal hunt when I grew up and cared for my mother who suffered from Parkinson's Disease. With the inception of the internet, the methods had changed so drastically, and it was very surprising to her, what I found in such little time. When she passed, one of the last things we spoke of was my research and how it honored my relatives and friends. In the wonderful process of creating my family tree, my husband got hooked and started his own. Now the two of us restore old photos (from the 1800's up), digitally, and share our massive collection with others.|
I do Find A Grave for the purpose of helping others with their genealogical journeys, and to honor my ancestors and friends by keeping their memories alive. My photos are something I take great pride in and love to share them with others. You may use them for your own trees, on Ancestry, etc. If you would like to credit me, that is wonderful, but that is not why I do this. It is purely done in the memory of my loved ones and friends.

I suspect she's buried there but doesn't have a marker. The contact info I have for St. Michael's is Rochelle Pufahl 920-887-1375.

There is one for Eleonore but my phone says the picture is the wrong size. Will have to go back to the cemetery for hers. Sorry about that. Laura

I've created six other Burtis memorials at Evergreen in El Paso. If you would be interested in maintianing those memorials, I would be glad to transfer them into your care. Cheers.

How do you fit into the Lofland family. My grandmother was Sarah Minerva Lofland. Thanks.
