RE: Mary R. Ball
You are probably correct. The surveys are typed. It may have been a typo. E and R are next to each other on the key board.

RE: John and Lettice Wilcox Reed
You're very welcome, seems, if I remember correctly, that they were on the main road going into the cemetery, on the right, more towards the back of the cemetery, but very close to the road.

RE: Elizabeth Rapalye Guion
Go back to Elizabeth memorial.. 1860...
there is a telephone number there..On all the memorials I put in...

next week.. give them a call ..
ask for david osborn.. he is the historian..
he can tell you if lewis is next to this elizabeth..
also check all of the memorials that are listed by this last name..
there are 3 family out there in that church yard
David can check the map where they are and even send you a photo if needed if he finds lewis .. by e-mail..

Good Luck... Barb

RE: Catharine Stansbury
I hope we have the RIGHT Catharine Stansbury. Jonas is not in Green-Wood. Why is she here--if this is THE Catharine Rague Stansbury? There are several Rague burials in Green-Wood, but she is not with them either. I can't help wondering if this Catharine Stansbury is indeed Catharine RAGUE Stansbury. I could find no connection between Catharine and the Martin family on Ancestry or in the NY Times archive. I'm stumped.

RE: Re: Todd family
Unmarked graves are not unusual in Green-Wood. Of the 600,000 or more graves here, I'd guess that half are not memorialized by the usual sort of stone or inscription one might expect. Of course, residents of mausolea are rarely memorialized on the structure's exterior.

Mary Todd
FYI--your request for a photo of Mary L Todd's grave was mistakenly submitted from the memorial page for Mary Amelia Todd, who rests in a different location. Please remove that request and submit the photo request from the page at this URL:
